@@subsonic9854 Popular in other countries but not in Philippines. That's why it's lost. So many westerners already learned it but not much in the PH. As a matter of fact, not all Filipino knew this art. They knew Taekwondo, Karate and most likely will enroll in those rather than FMA because this is rare in PH unlike Taekwondo and Karate, you can find them being taught in the lobbies of any near malls and grocery stores.
It's actually deadlier, hence armies prefer to learn it rather than enroll in fencing and kendo. 🤣 And that's why I guess it's a good thing that it's a lost art, because so many people carry a knife in Philippines. And with the kind of mindset these people has, a small argument can quickly turn deadly. In case you don't know, so many people died in PH for simply singing the notorious song "My Way" by Frank Sinatra. 🤣

Imagine this with real blades and intent in the jungles of the Phillipines. Remy Presas, Bobby Taboada and others. Scary for westerners who grow in relative comfort and safety. But now with MS13 and worse growing in America and Europe this needs to be learned.
