@@BangForYourBuckRc I'm sure glad to see there's a few good people left that have TASTE and a 🧠 BRAIN..... that a lot of the simpletons don't have, I'm a simpleton too, just an RC addict with sense and general enjoyment of life, you know? God bless bro, u be 👍 good 💯✌.
Good video Richie, nice and short and to the point! Bear in mind everyone that in ideal conditions, when the road is dry and the weather is warmer, you will get another maybe 2-3 MPH out of it, due to more grip, and under cold conditions batteries don't hold as much charge and don't perform as well. My brushless basher 1440001 will do just under 40MPH in ideal conditions.
Yeah I just learned not to pay any mind to those numbers even on bigger name branded things... who says how they determined that? Did they use unloaded wheel rotation speed and calculate it? Did they run it downhill? NO ONE SAYS how they clocked their speeds NOT EVEN THE BIG BOYS so I just ignore those numbers. That's hardly a complaint, you know? Especially for something so cheap. This is one of those that ends up being upgraded anyway so whatever@stock not being fast enough.
Clearly, you've not owned any of the Wltoys 144 line. I've bashed mine square into poles and it's not died yet. Then again I'm not trying to make a monster truck do 50+ kph. If you need a decent basher and don't want to spend $300+ on something that's very overkill for the purpose. Are you one of those folks that tells the guy with $150 he can't play unless he buys $300-500 in expensive as shit name brand cars and gear? Those people suck and youtube has about a zillion videos about how mad decent these are for the price. Again, it's all about what your price point is. Can you maybe not judge something garbage without even owning it?
They are actually pretty good. My son has one of these & my monster truck is a brushless Maverick Quantum. Mine was more than 4x the price and its currently hung on the wall waiting for more replacement parts. Luckily I also have a WL toys 124017 to drive while all my other RC cars are broken & lots of the decent 8th & 10th scale buggies I want are out of stock. The only cars I have that I think were better to own than the 12th and 14th scale WL toys cars have been a Nitro Kyosho inferno (about 15 x the price) and a Mardave Meteor 2wd buggy I got in the 90s.
@@TheActionBastard You're absolutely right bro!!! I've got 3 144001's, I've been modding them up for a couple, three years now, and I've gotten some great speed out of them and a lot of FUN!!! This guy is sounding like a coffee table, shelf QUEEN kind of owner, where his r/c NEVER sees the light of day. He has the R/C shop do all his work, including gluing tires & wheels, tightening screws....lmfao!!!!👍💯👍💯💯💯👍👍
love these 144002's Richie. Good to see you back making vids! Cheers mate
Very good speed test brother! It moves pretty darn good being all stock!⚡️⚡️⚡️💯💯💯👊🏼🤙🏽
I like that screen name dude......😁👍💯
@@bangurhead4027 right on brother! Yours is catchy too💯⚡️👊🏼✌🏻!

Weather is against me for sure Isaac!
Cool RC and great review brother
I was wondering if you can get me the slash vxl 4x4 fox addition
What stores can I get it from
144002 One disadvantage is that the housing is brittle in the cold. And its price is 1/3 of the price of the car itself
they are never ho nest about topspeed, maybe with a more powerful battery but then eletronics wont last as long i suppose

29MPH is my guess
TRAXXAS better watch their backs. WL Toys is knocking on the door.
It'll take WL Toys 25 years to get to where Traxxas is. As much as I like the WL line, their quality STILL has a lot of work to be done....💯👍
I love Traxxas and arrma but wltoys are coming up fast unlike the horizon hobby products we buy our own rc cars
🤔🤔
You might as well review used condorms as that will end up in the same place . BIN 🗑

Unnecessary.........👀👀
2 years in on 144001 only bent rear dog bone an a front CV and it's been flipped and tumbled hard many times.
