5:53 Bruce Wayne is a playboy and Batman has at least two love interests, which unless I am mistaken, does in fact _not_ include the mother of his one son who wasn't adopted. So there being a line checks out.
1:34 Isnt it implied that Joker knew (rather, had hoped) that Superman would turn bad. It was actually pretty clever honestly considering how much that society would lean on Superman. And he didnt care if Superman killed him, because the entire point would be to damage his sense of morality
I think I just love the idea of bruce wayne keeping a shi ton of pink kryptonite hidden in somewhere in the case of superman turning evil, because he doesn't approve killing peoole and wants to go with the more simple solution.
9:12 Which is even more confusing than there being a mirror universe version of Shazam being comprised of all five Shazam Family members (can't remember what media this was from) but not more confusing than Uncle -Marvel- Shazam having powers in the Crisis on Infinite Earths film trilogy.
Ok in defence of the injustice timeline jokers reasoning is complicated but it is there... A rule of thumb for comics joker at least is that everything he does normally is done to mess with Batman to spme degree but in this timeline he was sick of losing his game with Batman, so he disided to make a move that couldn't be beaten. Joker new that by driving superman insine would lead to his death one way or another, when superman kills him in one punch thats why he calls it a punchline, it has double meaning as he was literally punched to death but also it completes his ultimate joke. In other words, joker basically killed himself to make batmans closest friend his ultimate enemy, and in a way, i guess it really was kinda funny.
Honestly unlike Civil War (the comic), at least Injustice makes sense and is honest about which side they want you to root for. The teams in Civil War made no sense and the author was pushing for Iron Man to be in the right despite claiming the comic was making the issue neutral.
Wasn't Civil War more Cap leaning due to Spidey defecting to Team Cap, as well as Tony going overboard with imprisoning heroes against the Superhero Registration Act, as well as him literally making a copy of Thor without his consent? (that the real Thor would be incredibly pissed about later.) Or are you talking about Civil War 2? (mid asf)
Civil War comic does make Sense Team Cap Is more on the right since Iron Man goes over board and Is willing to do bad things to keep heroed In check (Unlike the MCU version were Tony HAD good reasons to sign the Sokovia accords)
honestly "Evil Superman" was not great even when it first showed up in Injustice. Superman was a story of "What if the dude with all the power in the universe was actually a thoroughly nice guy" and that's why it worked. Someone who uses their power to rule with an iron fist isn't really a subversion, it's just a standard villain, and it's boring and tedious.
Exactly what makes Superman's character great Is that he Is so powerfull yet uses all of that power to help a granny cross the street or help a kid fix his toy His character Is great because he Is an amazing person and friend. Those edgelords who think He Is interesting when he Is evil are wrong Cause Superman being evil Is boring AF
You forgot how terrible Earth 3 is where the Justice League is evil called the Injustice Syndicate Pink kryptonite ain't canon, that's just crystal meth
Crime Syndicate depends on the writer. Unfortunately a lot of writers are really afraid of creating new ideas for them and sticking with them. They were great antagonists for Forever Evil (JL goes missing, Syndicate shows up, DC villains unite to save their universe), since they, you know, were characters Most of the time though Earth 3 is a weird remnant of early DC comics where ideas were less “is this an interesting story?” and more “come and buy this book with this waaaaaaaacky cover”
The reason Batman does not kill is because of the line, batman knows once you kill once nothing is holding you back, and injustice Superman is a perfect example of what happens when you cross that line, he is so consumed by what he considers justice that he ends up killing Shazam, a freaking kid
I mean I don't disagree with that theme, but then this is Gotham and we have shit like professor pyg, who will disect and lobotomize you alive with army of his previous victims all lobotomized and disected. Like why you not ending this mad man no one on Earth, Heaven, or Hell will blame you.
This is just awful writing though. "noooo you can't kill this genocidal maniac who's killed millions you'll be no better than him" "oh no my wife died, guess i'm gonna be a dictator now" (I get that it was a slippery slope but that's still ridiculous)
Yea no its ridiculous. I don't see how justifyingly killing the joker randomly makes you think "Damn i really want to rule the world" Also the Batman reason for him "never going back" is such bullshit. The dude has been under the best mental training known in existence but he can't hold himself back after killing one of the most heartless and Mass murdering individuals on the planet? Yea ok lmao.

2:44 Kingdom Come says hi. A story of Superman's JL vs Batman's Outsiders. Although that story also had a third faction in the fight, Lex's "Mankind Liberation Front" which of course consists of Golden Age villains like Catwoman, The Riddler, Vandal Savage, Lord Naga and King of Spades (who is no longer the leader of the RFG which makes you wonder how he kept the title), and third-generation villains like Ra's successor, who is that universe's version of Damian but goes by an Arabic name like his grandfather on his mom's side.
Random question: What would pink kryptonite do to Supes if he was already gay? Does it just amp up the gayness or is it a power boost? Also, does that mean there's kryptonite floating around somewhere that just makes him violently heterosexual? (Yes, I know I put too much thought into this.)
0:53 Better to have those two than Brightburn anyway. Besides Regime Superman was based on Kingdom Come Superman and Justice Lord Superman (although it was Lex who killed Lois and was the start of Superman's body count in the Justice Lords timeline) (and maybe a bit of Red Son IDK). In the Injustice Movie, -Prime Earth- Earth-1 Superman even says the universe's designation is Earth-22, the same as the Kingdom Come universe.
@Based_Gigachad_001 Actually he tried to But the US government didn't want him to because at the time joker was a ambassador for some fictional country at the time So superman was sent to deal with batman otherwise there was a possibility for WW3
Honestly a concept of batman who doesnt kill his enemies, but makes them live tru horrors so unimaginable, that death seems like a greater mercy, is terrifying.
Honestly I can somewhat see where Bruce was coming from in Injustice. Hell Plastic Man himself said it best, “I’ve been shown to need multiple instances of second chances before I got on the right path. What makes you think that some of these villains you’re killing aren’t capable of redemption?” Then again you got The Joker who casually kills people because he finds it funny and he had one bad day. Basically both sides do have a point, Injustice Clark with how enough is enough and Injustice Bruce with how “some of these villains deserve redemption”.
Tbf batman knows how it feels to lose someone from a murder so thats the reason why he doesn't kill, its more the cities fault cuz they dont implement a death penalty
You *do Not want* a city as corrupt as gotham to Start killing people. There are ways to detain Super villains WITHOUT coldblooded murder you know? Most of the Batman villains, when written well, are actual people
10:11 You forgot to mention how they made him into a straight up villain who went on a murder spree. Although like Hal Jordon becoming Parallax, I think that got retconned.
Hot take: I think the concept of injustice really could’ve worked if it was better refined and more carefully crafted as a whole. Evil superman is pretty unoriginal all in all but injustice has always been kinda interesting to me as a concept..
Injustice problem is not really because Evil Superman is not original, but more like how they take the concept. Remove "the child murderer" and "being a tyrrant/dictator" then Superman ideology is pretty much good. It is just unnatural and forced.
10:28 Batman really planned to use a Yellow Power Ring against the Ring of Volthoon? A ring that's powered by instilling fear vs a ring that's powered by fear. Good job Batman, way to feed your enemy more power.

@@RipRLeeErmey I'm not saying he's completely new and original, I'm saying he's much more than just "evil superman", especially in the show. @@eckavh100 Alright, that's a fair argument to make, it was a little unfair for him to so haphazardly handwave especially the show version of Homelander. I would've given him credit if he just brought up the comics version of Homelander (as every character in that comic book is incredibly shallow, to the point of almost being parodies of bad guys).

DC's alternate universes are a playground of endless possibilities! From the dark dystopia of Flashpoint to the surreal realm of Elseworlds, each universe offers a fresh perspective on our favorite heroes and villains. It's like stepping into a multiverse where creativity knows no bounds!
If you actually know about Joker's reason why he went after Superman, it actually makes you appreciate Batman even more. Joker literally says he's tired of losing to Batman and wanted to prove a point. He manipulates the weaker minded Superman to kill everyone and go evil. Joker for years always lost to Batman, but goes after Superman once and wins
That doesn't really make sense... Yeah, technically, Joker "won" because Superman killed him, but that doesn't mean anyone else lost (except Batman, who is definitely in love with Joker, and I'm not joking). You know who actually won? The thousands upon thousands upon thousands of people who won't die because of the Joker. Batman is, at this point, arguably worse than his villains lol the guy is a joke. He lets his own beliefs and his "holier than thou + I'm always correct" attitude get in the way of saving people. Yeah, "hero."
Making Superman conveniently weaker minded than Batman is exactly why Injustice would never happen in the main continuity. It's clearly written by people who don’t know much about the characters.
injustice is basically what if almost evewry character completely did a u turn on their moral compass and life story and turned into an asshole, it was a cool game plot tho, it fits the confines of "we need an excuse to have them beat eachother" very good, that can't be said when the point is telling a story

Batman not killing people usually ends with his world becoming apocalyptic or he just proceeds to kill more and more people and innocent as well, like in flashpoint and gotham is an even bigger shithole. Also its the justice systems fault for not killing terrorists like the joker should be pretty easy to give him a death penalty. Superman turning evil through the death of his loved ones has already happened in the kingdom come storyline and his resolve actually grows and actively goes against heroes who kill since hes supposed to be a symbol of hope and be better than humanity. It shouldve been a swapped scenario with batman killing villains instead, which makes batman an even bigger threat since hes got a million contingencies. Also reverse flash was destined to be the flashs arch enemy no matter how much he didnt want to so he relents since its a fixed point.
I love how Reverse Flash is so petty he’ll travel back through time to push a small child down the stairs

5:24
Double fun fact, he also had a huge crush on Jimmy Olsen when this happened in a comic
5:45 okay I'm going to stop you right there. If superman humped batman at full force he would kill him. Thats the most horrible way to die... No..
Horrible? Depends on what he’s into
Honestly unlike Civil War (the comic), at least Injustice makes sense and is honest about which side they want you to root for.
(mid asf)
Civil War comic does make Sense
Team Cap Is more on the right since Iron Man goes over board and Is willing to do bad things to keep heroed In check (Unlike the MCU version were Tony HAD good reasons to sign the Sokovia accords)
honestly "Evil Superman" was not great even when it first showed up in Injustice. Superman was a story of "What if the dude with all the power in the universe was actually a thoroughly nice guy" and that's why it worked. Someone who uses their power to rule with an iron fist isn't really a subversion, it's just a standard villain, and it's boring and tedious.
W take
Exactly what makes Superman's character great Is that he Is so powerfull yet uses all of that power to help a granny cross the street or help a kid fix his toy
His character Is great because he Is an amazing person and friend.

You forgot how terrible Earth 3 is where the Justice League is evil called the Injustice Syndicate
Pink kryptonite ain't canon, that's just crystal meth
It is called the Crime Syndicate
hey earth-3 is an interesting alternate earth.
Crime Syndicate depends on the writer. Unfortunately a lot of writers are really afraid of creating new ideas for them and sticking with them. They were great antagonists for Forever Evil (JL goes missing, Syndicate shows up, DC villains unite to save their universe), since they, you know, were characters
Most of the time though Earth 3 is a weird remnant of early DC comics where ideas were less “is this an interesting story?” and more “come and buy this book with this waaaaaaaacky cover”
Are they? It is actually Canon but instead of turning a Kryptonian gay instead just gender swaps them.

I always thirst about the ideas about which Marvel and DC alt universes are pure chaos and now this vid quenches me.

@@eckavh100 Alright, that's a fair argument to make, it was a little unfair for him to so haphazardly handwave especially the show version of Homelander.

Let's be fr if you lost your mom and had the ability to go back and save her you'd do it without thinking
3:42 funny thing Wonder Woman in the Flashpoint universe also killed shazam
Batman not having prep time for a zombie apocalipse is the funniest thing.
Also also, you know how Flash kills Reverse Flash once and for all? He forgives him

So it makes it unbelievable Superman would have done any of this
