I Want To Let Go, is the song title and one of the soundtracks of Broken Marriage Vow, a Philippine drama series.
The lyrics is about a conflicted woman in a troubled relationship. Her mind tells her to give up but her heart doesn't want to, and she's having trouble choosing what to do. In the end, she decided to choose herself and finally let go.
Mori just put a lot of emotions when she's singing. You just feel it.

Morissette is a master story-teller through her singing, that even though you may not understand the words she is able to let you feel the emotions of the song. She is master of dynamics, starting off soft and mellow (as you said that could put you to sleep) but builds it up and it gets you hooked up in anticipation, increasing the intensity until she finally explodes and gives it her all you are just left in awe, amazement, and marvel at this talent. She definitely is one of the best vocalists in this generation, you cannot put her aside as just one of the singers you know, but when you think of your favorites, she will always come to mind. You will always want to watch and listen to her performances. 💖

There is a more intimate version of the song, only her and a piano, with English translation. Basically „Gusto ko nang bumitaw“ means „I want to quit“, the song is about an unhealthy relationship. You can feel her vulnerability, her disparity, her anger, her resignation and her „moving on“. The last sentence means: „I chose to let go now“
In this session, her voice was actually not in top form. The live version with band with her standing in a metallic dress will blow you away!
