Build is at the end of the video. I have more notes about the run, but first: I know I'll still get comments about this, but I didn't edit my save file. I manually farmed almost all of my curios (many Griffins and Nazarbonjus were sacrificed to Io's Flowery Seven) and save scummed for sigils, wrightstones, and overmasteries - and they're still not perfect. I even leveled up the sigils by hand instead of AFKing through Slimepede. This is probably the last time I'll be addressing this. Anyway, for the run itself, it's actually incredibly sloppy and has huge room for improvement. My hands hurt, though, so I'm taking a break for now with this quest. I might come back for a sub6 or better in the future because it's actually pretty fun once you get past the hurdle of getting destroyed in a few seconds (I'm still not past that hurdle, really. If you think this run looks bad, you should see my average attempt). People often ask to see "mortal" runs with mistakes anyway, so I'll pretend that was my goal and hide my disappointment in how bad this ended up being. Sorry for the really poor quality of the video. I haven't upgraded my PC in a while, so it struggles pretty hard to play the game smoothly, let alone while recording. I'm planning on upgrading sometime this year, but will unfortunately have to deal with choppy framerates while playing and/or recording until then. A few other notes: 1. If you see me running around a lot before using SBA, it's because I'm waiting for Gallanza to come close to Maglielle so that I can burst both of them down with Flowery Seven and Lightning into Stargaze V. Maglielle without her shield can get pushed away pretty far by Flowery Seven, so I really want Maglielle to be to the left (when facing them) specifically. This eats up a lot of time because I'm just waiting for a good time to get the combo going. 2. I do a lot of bunnyhopping to either push the last few percent of HP to trigger Silver Veil Storm (50% and 20% Gallanza HP) or just to build up some SBA gauge so I can get ready to do the burst combo. It's not actually good DPS, but if I'm trying to move around, I might as well throw in some Stargaze I. 3. I'm now a firm believer in Nimble Onslaught (and adjacent traits) being extremely overpowered, and I would like for them not to become staples in the future. It turns a completely unplayable fight into something relatively manageable while still demanding something out of player skill (unlike Flight over Fight, which I don't really like), but something feels wrong with standing still for 5 seconds ignoring everything until it's time to refresh the timer (I find it extremely hard to tell exactly when the invulnerability wears off in the middle of all the visual clutter, and it's pretty tough to be watching the buff bar while watching the fight). Maybe this is something only experienced in solo play. 4. On that note, I didn't use Flight over Fight because I didn't want to. It nearly trivializes the fight, but I'd rather make a ton of mistakes while trying to get better than use it as a crutch. I probably should've started with it first to get used to the patterns, though. 5. Io probably has unmatched multi-target burst damage among the cast. I was originally approaching this quest by focusing down Gallanza first and ignoring Maglielle almost entirely, but finding time to use the burst combo after each bloodthirst lets you start the Maglielle-solo portion with her basically half-dead. 6. Yes, I fail-dodged both times during Silver Veil Storm. I'm supposed to pick up the spear and throw it at Gallanza, which you're only really able to do with invulnerability active. Thanks for watching/reading. I don't know what will be next, if anything.
One tip when fighting Maglielle I found out by accident while using Io, when she uses Symphony Superior and all 4 Superlative weapons come out from the middle, if you time a Stargaze at the perfect timing it will destroy all 4 instantly before they spread outwards.
I use Version Afk build HP 99999, High def full life, High Def Lowlife, Stout heart sigil + Take less damage from Stout heart, max regen hp, gut, revive auto Close window open music, let AI play with him
Impressive stuff, nimble onslaught definitely makes it like a different character, she's nowhere near as squishy with it. Video's pretty choppy for me though, rendering issue perhaps?
I mentioned in the pin, but my PC does not get smooth framerates in game or in recordings. I'll be messing with settings to see if I can improve the quality next time, but I think my 1080 is on its last legs.
@ZebraQuake are you playing the game & recording from the same drive? Do you have a separate drive for recording? It looks like you maybe have alot of stuff running while recording perhaps
Okay now do it with Glass Cannon. Jk, this is insanely impressive. If you come back to it I wonder how much you can shave off. You've helped me with so many Io tips and tricks to learn!!
Damn you are the best io I’ve seen so far, and I agree about that extended invincibility, it’s so good. And is 100% crit better than lucky charge?? Sigils look normal btw, I’m 120+ hours, honestly it’s only sus when ppl run 3 supplementary damage V+
Lucky Charge is a fine stopgap before you're able to get 100% crit via 20% Overmastery, 10% wrightstone, and lv15 sigil. The loss is mostly only on some of the weaker hits on Fire and Supplementary damage.
gratz, I thought about fighting both at same time too but too lazy to retry the fight lol. Agreed on sigil extend invin and flight over fight are fucking stupid OP.
Great stuff. My Io's weapon is fully upgraded but my sigils pure crap (got War Elemental and two sup dmg but the rest is still very rough). Gotta farm more of them to try to get there.
Nice run, reading your comments, dont worry about weird People accusing you to save edit. People dont belive in farm/Lucky. A lot of this comments is just free hate because they cant do this.
what's funny is, even if someone does save edit to get good Sigils. you still have to do the fight lol. I bet with good sigils, a lot of people couldn't' do this. regardless. this is pretty impressive
How does the 1 Cascade compare to simply picking a 3rd Quick Cooldown (which gives -6%)? It seems that the 3rd quick cd would be worth more than the 2nd, but I'm not sure how that compares to Cascade.
Cascade is Cooldown per hit and the cooldown % is dependent on the attack type so for someone like Io it can very much be 5% on a Hit meanwhile someone like charlotta it can be 0.2% per hit at max level. sadly however we dont know the exact cooldown %
I was originally running 45 QCD, but switching one sigil to Cascade was noticeably better for Flowery Seven and Lightning specifically, even though it was a little bit worse for Fireball. I would normally run 45/16, though (while looking for 4 Cascade on the wrightstone).
Anormal sigil setting can be noticed. Io sigil+ with damage cap and Stamina. Critical V+ with Dmg cap sub. With 4 Rarest curios sigils. Thats even 200h players can't get normally. Anyway no complain, can assume you rerolled a lot the save for better curios and transmavel =v. Probably most users will ask how much time your save has.
really not that hard. in 1k curio you can expect 5 of each sigil minimum (not v+). in 200 transmarvel you can get all his combo sigils and more with save scum.
nope that's just a build of someone that played the game a lot since release, I have pretty much the same build as him, just without the Io Sigil+ with Cap and Stam, but the Io Sigil+ with both effects in one Sigil, that btw don't matter since he went for an Improved Dodge+ instead of another Attacker Sigil...
Build is at the end of the video.

bro wrote a novel
fact you even have to address you didn't cheat is stupid. every video i see of this game people are getting accused left and right. lol
The real question: does a Stun Power V+ with Damage Cap exist?
People can cheat all they want but you can't cheat the skill performed doing this feat.. Amazing run! (specially no FOF)
@@Sweaty_4 It does! Grey+Orange sigils exist. same as how Orange+Grey does.

This still ended up being quite a bit faster than I expected. Even while being considered "somewhat sloppy" by your standards.
I use Version Afk build

Jk, this is insanely impressive. If you come back to it I wonder how much you can shave off. You've helped me with so many Io tips and tricks to learn!!
You can get the the damage cap multiplier from stargaze V on SBA if you fire a stargaze V first before firing the SBA
I cant imagine the pain... I mean i guess i can,im still farming an D-Cap with Improved Dodge! But seeing this, makes me wanna try Io.
Damn you are the best io I’ve seen so far, and I agree about that extended invincibility, it’s so good. And is 100% crit better than lucky charge??

How did you savescum exactly ? If I'm not mistaken transmarvel, curios and overmasteries are seeded, is there a way to edit the seed ?
You can reload your save and do a quest to change the seed for transmarvel and overmastery. Curio is fixed when it drops.
@@isutashia4584 Oh that's good to know thanks
Damn, how long does it take you to grind to get all those gears and sigils…

yeah, you use them to farm some sigils and other materials!
