I have a 2013 bmw 328i and did some research before on how to use the power trunk. I found our that if your car does have PDC than your car will have the power trunk. All you have to do is line your foot up with the BMW logo on the trunk and do one slow kicking motion to the car. Not swiping motion. Think of it as kicking it in the rear. Hope this helps.
