I just want to say kurupt was amazing in the movie “Dark Blue”
With Kurt Russel. It was written by David Ayer same dude who wrote training day and end of watch and street kings. No one ever talks about that movie. It basically takes place during the la riots in 92 and also stars ving Raymes and the white dude who plays homelander from the boys. If you like those hardcore cop movies you’ll like Dark Blue. It’s basically the precursor to training day.

Snoop spoke on this recently. He did an interview with those comedian podcasters. I forget their names, but basically, Snoop said Pac introduced him to the more high fashion brands like Dion Scott, Armani and Versace. Pac told Snoop his persona was moreso a smooth pimp, who the females can embrace, rather than a hardcore gangsta always wearing khakis and chucks 24/7. If you look at Snoop's career, he took up some of those suggestions by Pac.

Nah designer brands had been incorporated into the streetwear of New Yorkers since the 80s and in the 90s. Before any real streetwear brands existed, the designer brands were the goal to get fresh...and remember 2pac got a lot of his high fashion ques from Haitian Jack and others. The West Coast streetwear was always more relaxed and skater or gang culture inspired. Not saying they didn't have high fashion because LA obviously does but it wasn't seen as much in their hip hop fashion, yet...until 2Pac.

He wanted to run his crews like that , chain of command. Generals speak to generals ect. That’s why in his later music he would always say “military minds”. He referenced alot of military phrase and terms. Outlawz were names after warlords, dictators and generals. Matter of facf. If death row was ran more militant and disciplined. Pac would have been alive if he hadn't sucker punched Orlando Anderson. If pac was such a general why he roll on the dirt with some crip. If he was such a boss he would have let his homies handled it.
