Pac said the same thing to Napoleon once: "I'ma die young. I'm be like a shooting star.. I'm gonna go real high & then I'm just gonna fade away. I'ma be a living legend after I'm dead." This was based off the fact that Napoleon use to feel really angry when hearing the waves from the ocean because it's to noisy for him. Then pac spoke to him about something not being right in his heart if mother nature makes him angry etc.
dont forget that this dude produced alot of other tracks for pac like, Az The World Turns, Catching Feelings, Military Mindz, The Good Die Young, High Speed etc... OG versions ofc
It seems some people have a real problem with Snoop dog lowkey. People really underestimate how big Deathrow Records was in the 90s. Snoop Dog was probably was one of the biggest artists in the 90s and is still one of the most FAMOUS artist in the world right now. It might be true that Snoop influenced Suge to recruit Pac to Deathrow. It would've only made their team stronger so I don't see why not. 2Pac blew up because he was the underdog and he had some shit to get off his chest because the industry counted him out. Pac felt like he had to prove a point and he wanted people to hear what the fuck he had to say.
Pac blew up because blah blah.. He'd already blown up.. Movies, number one albums etc. When was Snoop in movies or have number one albums? It was 92, 93, 94, 95 and on... Snoop needs to stop making music he's been garbage for 20 plus years. Doing just eat adverts😂. The man's a snakey clown.
@@emmashalliker6862 Snoop definitely had a number one album before Pac. He also had movies in the span of his career. And let’s not forget. Dre and Snoop built the house that Pac was able to take to another level. Dre and Snoop built that foundation. You can’t negate that. Honestly, the best and worst thing to ever happen to Pac was Death Row.
I’ll never like how Snoop was jealous after Pac’s success but still wants to take credit for him coming to Death Row, I’ll never like Snoop’s energy so I wasn’t surprised about what said about Big and Puff being his homeboys, and Snoop claims he loved Pac; nah you hated he stole all your spotlight if we being honest.
You gotta think about it. Death Row and Bad Boy were cool prior to the incident at Quad Studios before Pac got signed. Also, the Jake Robles incident and the Source Awards shit made things worse. Even Suge and Puffy said they were cool at one point. It’s like if two of your friends have a big disagreement, you either show love to both or you choose a side. that's a Fact. This interview through me off a bit because D. Harp almost NEVER curse in his past interviews. In this interview he was letting them fly. Also his Voice is a little different and he lost some weight. D Harp is a good guy. I enjoy Listening to his interviews
Still listening to Makaveli album in 2021... 🔥🔥🔥🙌🏽💯💣💣... Good interview AOD❤...He produced 3 of my favorites. ADD on Hail Mary and I'm good 💯

Didn't listen to this yet but I remember reading on XXL anniversary edition of tupac that he gave the producers on the 7 day theory album a chance when nobody else was... particularly snoop! Seemingly pac just told them all to get out of the studio for a week and he just worked with whoever was gonna be on the album!
Yeah...I still have it along with a few other Pac magazines.
I'm sure it's scanned and uploaded online by now.
Whew Life Of An Outlaw!!!! 🔥🔥 Such an underrated song! I can’t wait until he talks about how that one was made. One of my top 5 Oulawz collabs & posse cuts!

This man produced me and my girlfriend‼️ What a fucking legend. Been banging that tune none stop for the last couple months. Now it’s my fav. This man is G.O.A.T.E.D
When PAC came to DEATH ROW THAT WAS THE UPGRADE THEY NEEDED. HISTORY TELLS YOU THAT...PAC Even Held it Down For Snoop During His Murder Trial.
Yup … people don’t understand in 1994 & 1995 death row was getting a little quiet while bad boys was trying to catch up and take the spot because snoop was quiet as hell and ain’t drop a album in 3 years, dr dre working slow, lady of rage album wasn’t finish, dogg pound also working slow, Michele fucking around ! Suge needed a superstar to change the land scape ! That’s why suge wanted pac since 1993 very bad ! Once suge got pac he was happy as shit ! Truth is pac took snoop and took over snoop label ! I mean pac is a better Mc than snoop will ever be and that’s no disrespect to snoop but I know snoop jealous as hell of pac ! But pac was a real friend to snoop ! Pac had shit on lock and carried death row
@@papiking1991 what do you mean trying to catch up ? Biggie and Craig Mack was platinum, they had the junior mafia album and 112. They had game and charts on smash, that’s why suge manipulated pac to diss them, to get they dead ass label hot again.
Actually itnwas a downgrade seeing how pac acted out of his element and jumped into their gang business which got him killed and put suge in jail
@@6thbr871 no they were coming … 1995 biggie was blowing up ! 1994 Craig Mack had a smash hit which was flava in ya ears, 112 didn’t come out until 1996 I’m talking about the 1994-1995 era. Junior mafia album was decent good and idk how much it sold but they were coming and the east coast was bringing out good ass music ! Nas was coming, wu tang was coming, big L, mobb deep, fugees l, snoop dogg was too quiet, death row needed a spark and a new leader ! Pac came and took over ! Pac is a better mc, marketable, makes better music ! That’s no disrespect to snoop because his first album was a classic ! But snoop just couldn’t be that guy no more ! That’s why suge wanted pac badly since 1993 he’ll even puff was trying to get pac to bad boys but pac was like hell no ! My point is bad boys was coming and death row was slipping away a little
@@papiking1991 Bad Boys trying to catch up? 😂😂😂😂 Never that!!!! Bad Boy record label was on fire at that time. No need to catch up when the label was on top!!!! Hits after hits after hits!!!!!
I knew Snoop was jealous. He thought Pac would be his Robin. He must not have paid attention to “Me Against the World”. That was his biggest mistake and I agree with this dude.
This is the house Snoop built.
@@bismarkowusuyeboah3168 then it went into foreclosure. Pac came bought an under water mortgage and paid it off.
Great album, my personal favourite of his albums
@@bismarkowusuyeboah3168 and pac took it over so what's your point?
and that’s exactly why black labels don’t last. everybody wanted credit and not look at the bigger picture who cares if snoop built it pac came in and took it somewhere else then after pac it coulda been some1 else. they don’t tell the same thing to a black label that they would a label that’s ran by a white man
When he said his production credits for makaveli, you have to stamp him as a legend!! Glad to see he's getting his credit and for him to tell his story. I remember the name from reading the credits on the back of the CD but never knew what he look like..
Word up
Nigga got 4 beats he ain’t no legend
Johnny J's replacement. Cool to hear from the man behind these legendary beats.
i wouldnt say he replaced JJ, him and tyrone were doing rnb tracks in the wackroom b4 pac joined DR
Death Row let Johnny J go
Johnny J had some 🔥 tho no faking
@Rafik Baines never could he replace Johnny J . Johnny J was like Prince . Countless 2 Pac shit never got released . He was killed because he wouldn't release it ....
Johnnny J was better. Don’t ever disrespect.
Suge not that much of a bad guy he just made bad decisions and let it all get to his head too much
Suge was actually a stand up guy it seems. He was a gangsta no doubt but he did alot of good for his people. Its his enemies that he let his rath out on
The amount of things suge did for the rap game is always slept on.
Word suge did a lot for snoop with his case snoop would not return the favor like trying to get suge out jail
Naw bra ppl was getting pead on lol 😂
What you do in the past comes in full circle.Bad out weighs the good
You can tell when someone is genuinely telling the truth
So your telling me that most of makaveli came from the “wack room” pac was definitely on a mission at that time making them hits
“Blasphemy” is my favourite song from Pac I wonder who produced the beat shit’s haunting the song itself contains the dark side of religion and freaky preachers Pac told decades ago which is still relevant today, a lot of people sleeping on that song and listening to it over and over again it’ll never get old.
The 7Day Theory is still 🔥 til this day and my favorite pac album.
Rap Album 🐐

Yeah Snoop must have felt a way about that. He was taking his groupies too apparently lol.
Beautiful analogy between the bright star and Tupac!!!!
Pac said the same thing to Napoleon once: "I'ma die young. I'm be like a shooting star.. I'm gonna go real high & then I'm just gonna fade away. I'ma be a living legend after I'm dead."
This was based off the fact that Napoleon use to feel really angry when hearing the waves from the ocean because it's to noisy for him. Then pac spoke to him about something not being right in his heart if mother nature makes him angry etc.
THE ART OF DIALOGUE, YOU’RE DA 🐐
Even Suge Knight knew Pac was taking Snoop spot to the point he told him to be considerate of Snoop's feelings. 😂
😂😂😂
Yea that line to me is very telling if suge knew who was the new king of death row you know everyone else knew
Nah he just knew how much of a bitch at heart snoop was. Oh and a fake gangsta.
Pac was like those gifted kids always out shinning the slow kids🤞🏾😂
dont forget that this dude produced alot of other tracks for pac like, Az The World Turns, Catching Feelings, Military Mindz, The Good Die Young, High Speed etc... OG versions ofc

High speed is a great record

Good interview. You about to squeeze Vlad out of the whole pac interview game lmao.
Also, your interview skills seems to be improving as well.
Exactly 💯
Pac blew up because blah blah.. He'd already blown up.. Movies, number one albums etc. When was Snoop in movies or have number one albums? It was 92, 93, 94, 95 and on...
Snoop needs to stop making music he's been garbage for 20 plus years. Doing just eat adverts😂. The man's a snakey clown.

*ALL EYES ON ME < Makaveli.* Yeah I said it
I’ll never like how Snoop was jealous after Pac’s success but still wants to take credit for him coming to Death Row, I’ll never like Snoop’s energy so I wasn’t surprised about what said about Big and Puff being his homeboys, and Snoop claims he loved Pac; nah you hated he stole all your spotlight if we being honest.
After a murder trial that could’ve put him in jail for life, Snoop chose peace.
