Your videos are inspiring as i also recently purchased my first home and love doing these home reno projects. One thing i found with my garden beds is wildlife loves digging through/messing up mulch so i opted to remove all of mine in favor of rocks. A little pricey but you also dont have to redo it every year.

Hi Nathalie. Set them in water and give them time to root (new white roots) which you will then be able to plant. It may take time, put them in the garage or space where they won't be moved.

You should document a little about the soil pH requirements for hydrangeas and rhododendrons. Both prefer slightly acidic soil, especially the latter, which may eventually die if the soil is not acidic enough.

I'm a Master Gardner and deal with deer. I've tried everything. The deer would eat my lillies but would leave the Asiactic lillies alone. They are heavy perfumed. So I went to the dollar tree bought cheap perfume. I spray the roses, hostas, lillies and hydragenas. You have to respray after it rains.
We don’t yet 😓 he’s never *knock on wood* has gotten out of our property, we also put him on a long leash so it’s easier to grab him lol but we definitely need to put up an invisible fence!
I’d skip the landscape fabric next time and just put 2-3 inches of mulch. Weeds will grow eventually no matter what even with landscape fabric. Plus it will be better for the soils health without it.
@@nathaliefischerx3 yes! It will also be easy for the earth worms to go up and down to do their job improving your soil. I’d only use landscape fabric for rocks cuz they do end up going under when you keep stepping on them.
