    Impermanence is the way to get enlightened

    • @victorystar8586
      @victorystar8586 4 года назад

      Yes. Realization of this enable us to reach enlightenment. That's why human have a higher chance of reaching navanna than angles and bhamma. Their lives are too long to realise it (religiously speaking)

    Is the cadaver in the video there for death meditation? I understand Theravada monks often do meditate on death since the time of historical Buddha but is there any places in Thailand that allows lay Buddhists not in robes to meditate in front of the the dead?

    • @mdesignffm
      @mdesignffm  8 лет назад +2

      yes, you can meditate with exactly this dead body. it is in wat tam yai prik on the island ko si chang. it lies between bangkok and pattaya. you go there by ferry from si racha. www.ko-sichang.com.

    In which sutta does the Buddha and Ananda have this conversation?

    • @mdesignffm
      @mdesignffm  5 лет назад +2

      i am sorry, i do not know. but does it matter? inhaling and exhaling, arising and ceasing, living and dying - it is the same thing. and this has been pointed out by the buddha more than once.

    • @scheibermartin738
      @scheibermartin738 3 года назад

      There is no Sutta with that conversation. Not in the English or German version. But maybe in the Thai sutta.
      But you can find similar messages in the Suttas
