    • @karamei
      @karamei 2 года назад +19

      @@FindMe04 Nope, I actually never realized this myself (I don't play Junkrat though) but Flats explains why this is very simply and clearly. Junk can use the choke, but other than that, the map basically works AGAINST the things Junk wants to utilize environmentally. So much open space especially for point A. Junk thrives on enclosed spaces - and what works on one point, for any hero, may not work on a different one (or on the next round when you get swapped to attack or defend). But this map in general absolutely favors highground and off angling. If you don't want to hitscan, something that can brawl better than junkrat is a better choice most likely.
      Personally I've found torb fairly OP on volskaya defense on both points with certain turret spots. And yes those turrets are highground with a bit of cover, even doing crossfire, so that same concept Flats is talking about applies.
      Of course Torb doesn't always work especially if we lose point A quickly, then I swap to something else. Sorry for long-ish response, just thought you might want some more thorough explanation/recommendation or something.

I don't think many people understand what that actually means, or actually thinks it through. It kinda just goes in one ear and out the other. But actually showing specific spots for different situations, that's nice. If someone wasn't using them, well now they know. And after a while taking the high ground will become natural and spread over to other maps as well.. Probably..

      Delayed priority system that doesn't change reactively in the moment is what that is, I'm pretty sure. Though that air flight is really the big flaw in that case lol, so much cover and fast GAs in valk QQ. Like she may have died regardless once in LoS, but she didn't even try to salvage herself. I've been there, but not flown straight up into a deadeye or visor lol. The time to take cover can be too long. However, knowing their hitscan comp, she should have just stayed lower to the ground where her TEAM WAS, behind fairly safe cover, even in Valk, she could maybe use it to heal those who took some poke/visor dmg, or made an escape depending on if the fight is less in her team's favor.
      Sorry just really not a fan of Mercys who think Valk means mandatory fly to skybox, it's often very out of position, and Valk beam is super long which can be abused still when positioning better.
