I suck at timing so trying to get the Amnesia CC counter has gotten me killed several time, more than anything else as a Slowbro and I am not proud to admit but I just suuuuuuuckn at it.
I rely more on Telekinesis and trying to make the team work, that has given me more success as a new Slowbro olayer but I do admit that Amnesia is cool when you go back and front in team fights with almost all your HP recovered.
I love the thorough logic and reasoning in this video. I appreciate the video explaining the pros and cons and the thought process around character-based choices like moveset. I'd love to see more of these! Where do I enroll in Moy University??

I would say amnesia is overall better but if you have really good teammates who can deal damage and help you, you could use tele. Also just subbed and bell on:D
To answer the question on my favorite move, probably Mewtwo X's future sight. It reminds me a lot of Stitches from HotS, similar to your comparison for it on Telekinesis. I feel like it'd be cool for it to be a skill shot over a point & click for X though, it would be more satisfying to land that sweet hook.

amnesia is definitely more reliable and the overall safer pick, but man do i LOVE using telekinesis. if you use it well, and your teammates are proactive, you’ll find so many kills and can completely shut down the opposing teams carry. very satisfying to use, i’d highly recommend anyone who normally goes amnesia to give it a shot
I don't use Slowbro myself, but I think Amnesia is a beter move, because telekinesis is thin hit during the fight, if enemy's attack you, you have to wait for that move anyway, then you are probably already dead. But amnesia you don't have to target an enemy, but it gives faster HP and is briefly unstoppable. Telekinesis can also be good for making enemies unplayable and pulling then along as long al you don't miss out during the fight and Rayquaza fight.
I only use slowbro in that Leon solo challenge

I’m addicted to Telekinesis, getting that grab that I know has the op seething is what I live for, i go full HP build in emblems and spoon and shield but shell bell w/ use an x attack so my scald comes up faster. Scald, auto twice at least, telekinesis then scald and repeat I’ve solo tanked a 5 v1 before what a good feeling lol
If im not mistaken Telekinesis+ is a 20% range and speed increase. Maybe make half that baseline then Lv13 gives the other half while also maybe a small shield or damage reduction while holding someone for extra protection so your not entirely vulnerable. if not the shield or DR, at the very least half of the upgrades bonus is moved baseline. some hitbox changes could help it too if stuff can miss because the target is lifted up

If you’re playing duos and trios telekinesis is amazing, just focusing on the carry of the other team eliminates them completely. Solo amnesia is the way to go

I feel like the choice between Amnesia and Telekinesis is situational. Don't get me wrong, Amnesia is overall better in comparison since it restores more blue HP, gives Unstoppable for a short second, and increases Defense (and eventually Sp Def). It's enough to make Slowbro an unstoppable tank, added with Scald and its recovery.
Though if you ever want to put more trust in your teammates, you'd go Telekinesis, as it allows your teammates to strike while the enemy is trapped, kinda like Mean Look. Unlike Mean Look, Telekinesis is not a sure hit. If you miss, it goes on instant cooldown. It's the worst kind of Mean Look in a way, all while you sacrifice tankiness.
I never use Amnesia all of my bro move(100+ matches) was with telekinesis

I use a high health slow bro with max white emblems and rest black all health based emblems -5 defense and special defense with -10 attack and special attack with the worst movement speed ever which is okay since there's a soft cap for the bottom and it moves like no emblems ever however slows make me slower than everyone but sitting in goal as defender like I'm supposed to with focus band, shell bell, and energy amplifier not only furthering my self heals but my cool downs to a near almost repeat usage and I like surf more than boil because it's a push and another mobility move I use when x speed is out to an objective or to heals aka a goal I usually never let anyone take out if I'm there. I've between a whole operating team using two ex mons Mewtwo y with the sword dog from Pokemon sword, Comfey with Goodra, and the speedster absol and rotom multiple times in a match by myself pugging as I told the rest of my team to focus on bottom path. Since cursed items got nerfed and rarely ever seen used by people I pug with I don't really need shell bell for heals or special attack bonus because I'm only using it for the cool down since the build altogether has almost doubled HP with more healing with resonant guard aka health health Regen and damage shield when I do damage mixed with assault vest with less cool down I have that almost double blissey health hower quit using it because shields don't count damage received and block me from healing myself thus blocking me on recovery points as I defend and kill about as much as any speedsters I pug with
How cursed items got nerfed
I use telekinesis because I like pulling people

I did build yellow emblems page, it give you spd out combat, good for switching/supporting/roaming
Also most of Yellow Emblem give you spd, hp, and sp atk and can pair with White Emblem to increase % base HP
In end of the day emblems give you only little boost. But its wise to use it at your advantage. Yellow emblem slowbro is meme build and not optimal.

Slowbro have limited movement, With potion you can survive longer, but you are losing quick change position of yourself(x- speed, eject), and sometimes potion will not help you enough to survive.
