Loved living on the riverfront in Cold Spring, and the vibe of the Village. It was a decent commute by car to Manhattan as well - about and hour and a half. Parrot Street is famous for Halloween decorations and crowds come to see. In the video, looking across the Hudson River and south is West Point. Also, a few historic ships dock at Cold Spring in summer for viewing, and watching Fourth of July fireworks on the dock was so much fun. Beautiful place. Thanks for the video - brings back good memories!

A great video! I was born and raised in Cold Spring. As coincidence has it, it was 50 years ago to the day you posted this video (August 26, 1972) that my family moved from there.
Great video! Just visited yesterday from taking a Seastreak ferry fall foliage tour and this village is truly cute and charming! Did some antique shopping and dined at Hudson Hils on Main St, and took many pics! Relaxing sightseeing trip away from the city! Will come back soon! 😍❤️🌊🚢⚓️🍁🍂
