Poops McGoobie maybe that's because Milo is coming of age, if you notice from Everything Sux onward his voice deepened, it doesn't sound like his usual teenager voice.
I tried, just with the "Hypercaffium" release, but can't get into this. It's not even that it's so mid-tempo, it just has no hooks like they're capable of. I listened to it twice now and can't remember anything I just played. I love 'em, since "Enjoy" came out, but the well runs dry for everyone.
I felt that way about Everything Sucks. I've avoided the new releases until recently. They were definitely at their peak for me in the eighties but I've taken to the "newer" material much easier than Everything. It felt like All were peaking with Chad around then.
Bad Religion, yes I can hear that; on BR later albums anyhow (Suffer was perfect, still w raspy vocals) It’s just that time passes, Milo sound different as he’s considerably older, fact of life for most artists :/

The vocals hardly sound like Milo on this, but I'm loving it! Props to them for not putting these on the album, they're better off on they're own.

Milo sounds different. Songs sound a bit like Bad Religion at times. Not the same (or as good to me) as old Descendents.
