To my humble opinion, you should do a street bike built. I watched some of your built video's, and they are mostly about race bikes. No problem ofcourse, i loved watching them. You do create great quality bikes, sais me watching from the Netherlands...LOL.. I just think these great bikes you built should not just be for people to watch on a track.. A mix ofcourse is even better..Track vs Street... Good luck with that...
As a complete new guy to bike life (just got my own first bike and started looking at video content about bikes). I must admit, I always thought that after an accident, the bike is completely ruined. But the more i look at Your channel, the more I am impressed how strong the bikes actually are by design... The things that look unrepairable and "just throw away frame", yet You make them look and work like brand new..
Absolutely love your channel mate, the give it a crack attitude mixed with Aussie humour and a ton of really educational content, by far my favourite bike rebuild channel
Hola amigo! 👋 Giving the bike the benefit of the doubt that the forks are straight, a quick way to straighten them out is to start by having the bike on a level surface and on a rear stand. Then loosen the front wheel axle, brake calipers, lower triple tree clamp and the top steering stem nut. DO NOT LOOSEN THE TOP TRIPLE CLAMP or you’ll have an entirely different problem 🤣 Then hop on the bike and use your weight to bounce the front end up and down a handful of times and then check to see if they straightened out. If so, snug your steering stem nut then torque down everything else to spec and return to torque the top stem nut last. Cheers from Texas! 🎉
street bike builts 100% also cuz we love super bikes, those street track bikes looks like proper track bikes most of times just with flash lights, plate numbers etc! keep on also GOLD looks always better
I'm happy as to see the r1 getting some love! I've had a 2022 r1 now for about a year and loving it. I'm interested to hear your opinion on it compared to all the other ducatis and the s1000. I almost brought a v2 but the price here in NZ was the same as a r1 so it seemed like a l easy choice 😅
I think you are confusing the secondary air system SAS with the EGR valve. The SAS doesnt recirculate unburnt gases. It just puts fresh air into your exhaust system to burn the rest of your unburnt gases and warm up the catalytic converter.
Heya I’m loving these videos after discovering you yesterday, I recently watched your Ducati Blue paint job and was wondering were you got your stickers from by chance?
Hey man, love the builds. Do you have a way to check if the swing arm and everything in the rear of a motorcycle is straight? Or do you just kind of stand behind a bike and eyeball everything?
for this particular bike the swingarm looks untouched so I'm not worried. for other bikes I have a frame doctor who puts the bike in a rig and tests straightness...then fixes accordingly. also try not to buy bikes that have any major swingarm dents or scratches...
Absolutely I’m afraid 😟my friend purchased a Aprilia lower fairing for his tuono which is a counterfeit of Ilmberger design I showed Michael it from Ilmberger and he confirmed they are a Chinese manufactured part sold via Italian company 🙄the weave looked ok but material brittle and didn’t fit right we made it fit in a fashion it caught lower oil radiator we managed to get it to fit but first ride the carbon tabs glued on snapped and it cracked around the seperate pieces that make up the three piece belly pan also Michael put an ebay complaint in for copywriter breaches I have photos of the cracks and fitment on my friends tuono but it didn’t even come with carbon fibre brackets like Ilmberger and it wasn’t much cheaper it’s just they had one in stock and Ilmberger had a 6 to 8 week lead time and he couldn’t wait but he regretted it immediately
Wow, well from my first impressions it’s actually really good quality, probably better than anything else I’ve purchased over the years…🤞 Even Ducatis are built in Thailand so 🤷🏻♂️
I just don’t like companies like Ilmberger hard work in R&D getting ripped off but they don’t make parts for every bike so you have to get it from wherever u can 👍only time will tell with finish and strength and if u crash anything it’s going to break whoever made it lol

Totally agree, that's why the R1 will be dual purpose...

I used to race a 916 back in mid 2000"s. Ever think of doing an older Ducati superbike
@ 🤞 soon 🤞. My mate does some good restos of 916’s etc….im looking at a 1098s SF at the moment for full ground up road build
Idk how you don’t have more views? Really educational stuff 👍
Appreciated, still trying to figure out the algorithm myself!
Another great build there, that’s gonna be once nice machine once done

Just finished myAprilia rsv4 only missing a stator mount but other than that good to go for the upcoming track year
Rectifier mount *
Cool, we made custom printed rectifier mounts for our two RSV4s
@ I could sure use that file
@ msg me on insta. I’ll see if I can get it.
I’ve got that file now if you want it. Msg me on insta and I’ll email it to you.
I know it probably will not go this way but high gloss black and gold would look good just wheels and levers and yam tank badge in gold and the forks
There’s already one like that locally….

same price id go for R1 too. 30-40 more BHP. But TBD that V2 is a track weapon.....for an intermediate level rider like me

I get my left and right feet confused so maybe 🤔
love your videos. but theres no need to check oil with magnet because bike already has magnet and filter
Better to be safe than sorry. I check and clean the magnetic sump bolt too…
