    Several errors in the video: the S.I. unit of pressure is not the Atmosphere but the Pascal = N/m² (Pa). And the derived unit of volume isn't the Liter (correct spelling Litre - like meter correct spelling metre), but the m³. The Litre is recognized as a measure of volume that is used in daily life because of its convenience: 1 Litre of cold pure water weighs approximately 1 Kg.
    Ps: Litre comes from Greek Λίτρο. And the metre from Greek μέτρον (a measure) and μετρώ (to measure, count or compare).So the correct spelling is Litre - Metre... easy as pie!

      In the US it's spelled differently

    • @fjcabanog
      @fjcabanog 5 лет назад +5

      Words are spelled differently in the United States and United Kingdom. U.K tends to interchange the letters 'r'and 'e'in the word. For instance you will have the words Tower, Liter, Meter, as cited in the video. All these words are spelled in the American way. United Kingdom interchanges the letters r and e which then results to the words towre, metre, litre, so on and so forth.
      There are lots of words spelled differently in the United States and United Kingdom. Supposing you will have the words color, favorite. These words are in the American way of spelling it. In the U.K, it's a different story. The letter 'u' is added after the letter 'o'which then results to colour, favourite, etc.
      Edit: I Proofread minor incorrect spellings

    Not meaning to be picky, but a square with sides 2 meters is 4 square meters. But it is not 4 meters squared. That would require all sides to be 4 meters. Eg... 1 meter squared = 1 square meter, but 2 meters squared = 4 square meters.
