Law and order in Australia is a never-ending talkfest. No one is ever really on the victims' side. There's no justice in the legal system it's just a revolving door. Victoria is the only state or territory with decreasing prison numbers. From 30 June 2023 to 30 June 2024, total prisoners decreased by 8% (522) to 5,918. Make of that statistic what you will!

They have a Chain of Responsibility law that applies to other parties in company not just drivers for safety operation of heavy vehicles on the road and therefore also accountable for the safety of the vehicle other than the driver. Somehow, just somehow these magistrates are blatantly releasing these criminals out on bail some of which have committed over 100 violent crimes, stealing vehicles and operating them in a dangerous manner and posing massive risks to the public on top of many other crimes and nothing is getting done about it. Victoria is a complete circus! Surely someone needs to be also held accountable if these criminals are released and cause serious injury or death to innocent people right?

It's about time the Attorney General listens to hard working Australians and pulls the judicial system in to line......hah don't hold your breath. Didn't hear of anyone being fined . What happened to mandatory 6 months jail for assaulting first responders, police , ambo's , nurses, fire fighters , ect ? Didn't work . What about bigger penalties for filming car jacking , home invasion, assault? I believe police are doing a great job but magistrates are letting us down along with weak politicians now clutching at straws 😮
