Everything is a blessing in disguise, with an adequate positive outlook on life. In practicality, squeeze into a studio untill you save up so you can get land without excessive loans. I mean rent is always going to nothing. It sucks but most people are probably like him and me that are just trapped renting. I mean it doesn't seem realistically possible for a lot of people to pay rent AND be saving for a down payment on a house.

After paying all my bills and rent and groceries Im left with just a few hundred dollars. I am actually condidering renting just a room in a few months so I can save money up to buy a house in the future from my neighbor. What I would do is pay her like $500 and then just move out in a few years time but I am still thinking about it!
i thank God everyday for the decision i made in 2016 to get my house. $1000 mortgage. 1acre, 1500 sq ft house, surrounded by a horse ranch and farmland. and the house has nearly tripled from what i bought it for. it is the ONLY sound financial decision i’ve made in my adult life.

$800 a month 13 years ago! For that now you could rent a hell of a nice house where I live at. A house selling over 300 grand is almost unheard of in my neck of the woods!
Have you looked into any first time home buyers programs. It’s definitely time to start investing into your future and family. Renting for so long is not a good idea. All you can do now is correct past financial mistakes.

Wishing you the very best! Moving is bad enough when it's your choice. When you have to do it as a matter of necessity, it's really hard. I moved by choice a year ago to Texas from Illinois. It was still a bitch even though I really wanted the change... I don't know your talents or skills, but apply yourself and find a spot to launch your next chapter of your career and life. You've got the smarts and guts and I know you can pull it off! Hang tough, Brother!!!
The lesson to learn here, is to take control of your living situation. If youre young and reading this, take control of your living situations. If youre paying below market rent, put more money away for future moves. If you're getting constant issues with the landlord, prepapre yourself to move. Financially and mentally. Don't be unprepared.

Jeff have you thought about a trailer or RV? Even though it's smaller, you could maintain it much easier and in the event of a major storm or other emergency you can get it somewhere safe relatively quickly.
Well good luck bud, I am sure you will find a place that works. Not sure on what your career options are but you are still young and can build up to something if you need to start at or near the bottom again, and you could potentially have 2 incomes rather then 1 which will bridge the gap to some degree. I have been subbed to you for probably 10 or more years I used to watch your videos on butterfly knife flipping which were extremely well done btw and helped me learn the process really well up to the point where I didn't really have time to do it much as a hobby any more. (you might want to look into re-doing these videos with better quality/1080/4k etc maybe better angles etc.) Your other content that you have had on here hasn't really been that interesting to me but I do still peak in every so often to see what you are up to, my hope is that you will eventually find a way to make some more interesting content I can check out again but till then you will still have my sub and my occasional check up.
It sucks that your landlord lost the house. I know that where I am at the rent is super high. All I can say is keep your chin up and stay positive. This is the time when you and your wife will grow stronger together. Good luck with the job search and God Bless.
Hey man, same thing is happening to my parents right now, we’re loosing our family home we’ve had since I was in elementary school. I really feel your pain, but remember but it’s just a thing, and things can be replaced. We’re all kind of struggling, but at least we have each other. I’d buy something if you sold them
I might be wrong, but If I remember correctly you mentioned that your wife was once pursuing a career in law but stopped to move in with you to a different state. If that's true, why you two decided to do that is beyond me. If I was in your position at that time and my gf/wife was going to a law school and I was a RUclipsr, I would've done everything in my power to keep her in school. I would move, I would get a second job, whatever it takes to get her to finish her law school. You might struggle a few years but then you two are cruising on easy mode. That and you throwing money into cars instead of just getting a reliable toyota from the start like everyone was telling you was also a mistake.
This really sux for you two, but I have faith that you will survive this and continue your YTC at the same time. I'm sure your legions of fans will roll with the changes and aren't going to turn against you if your production slows down!
The bank and realtor need someone that is going to take care of the place until the end of the lease or sale. They want to prevent the house from being torn up or have squatters move in. Or they may want to just get it sold ASAP and offer you a buyout. Goodluck, things will work out!
luckily where I am there are no squatters in that respect and little to no crime so no one will mess with the house at all, its been vacant before for over a year before I came in...animal problems like pests sure but no people pests, lol

Does your lady work too ? If not she needs to , thats just the current state of things . Can you liquidate & persue an FHA ? Can you enter a bid for your current place ? If the landlord hasn’t made payments and youve been there 13 years you can take it to court and get ownership, move out and rent it to someone else
Wishing you the very best! Moving is bad enough when it's your choice. When you have to do it as a matter of necessity, it's really hard. I moved by choice a year ago to Texas from Illinois. It was still a bitch even though I really wanted the change... I don't know your talents or skills, but apply yourself and find a spot to launch your next chapter of your career and life. You've got the smarts and guts and I know you can pull it off! Hang tough, Brother!!!

The lesson to learn here, is to take control of your living situation. If youre young and reading this, take control of your living situations.
If youre paying below market rent, put more money away for future moves. If you're getting constant issues with the landlord, prepapre yourself to move. Financially and mentally. Don't be unprepared.
When it rains, it pours… Good luck and just keep chugging along. You’ll come out on the other side before you know it. Often these things are a blessing in diguise, and I hope that’s the case for you this time. Still sucks in the meantime. Good luck!

Jeff have you thought about a trailer or RV? Even though it's smaller, you could maintain it much easier and in the event of a major storm or other emergency you can get it somewhere safe relatively quickly.

Well good luck bud, I am sure you will find a place that works. Not sure on what your career options are but you are still young and can build up to something if you need to start at or near the bottom again, and you could potentially have 2 incomes rather then 1 which will bridge the gap to some degree.
I have been subbed to you for probably 10 or more years I used to watch your videos on butterfly knife flipping which were extremely well done btw and helped me learn the process really well up to the point where I didn't really have time to do it much as a hobby any more. (you might want to look into re-doing these videos with better quality/1080/4k etc maybe better angles etc.)
Your other content that you have had on here hasn't really been that interesting to me but I do still peak in every so often to see what you are up to, my hope is that you will eventually find a way to make some more interesting content I can check out again but till then you will still have my sub and my occasional check up.

Hey man, same thing is happening to my parents right now, we’re loosing our family home we’ve had since I was in elementary school. I really feel your pain, but remember but it’s just a thing, and things can be replaced. We’re all kind of struggling, but at least we have each other. I’d buy something if you sold them

I might be wrong, but If I remember correctly you mentioned that your wife was once pursuing a career in law but stopped to move in with you to a different state. If that's true, why you two decided to do that is beyond me. If I was in your position at that time and my gf/wife was going to a law school and I was a RUclipsr, I would've done everything in my power to keep her in school. I would move, I would get a second job, whatever it takes to get her to finish her law school. You might struggle a few years but then you two are cruising on easy mode. That and you throwing money into cars instead of just getting a reliable toyota from the start like everyone was telling you was also a mistake.
This really sux for you two, but I have faith that you will survive this and continue your YTC at the same time. I'm sure your legions of fans will roll with the changes and aren't going to turn against you if your production slows down!
The bank and realtor need someone that is going to take care of the place until the end of the lease or sale. They want to prevent the house from being torn up or have squatters move in. Or they may want to just get it sold ASAP and offer you a buyout. Goodluck, things will work out!
luckily where I am there are no squatters in that respect and little to no crime so no one will mess with the house at all, its been vacant before for over a year before I came in...animal problems like pests sure but no people pests, lol

I moved to Idaho. The economy here is awesome, and you would easily get a job. It isnt cheap though, at least in the Treasure Valley area. Very conservative, pro 2A.
