when you replace film or changing to a new one don't put it all over every time. connect the new reel to the old one with duct tape and just let the machine make packages, new foil will come at the cutting jaws within a minute ;)
If you ever have to do this, don't cut the film into a triangle shape, that looks more difficult. Instead keep the film nice and flat against the collar and run it up to the opening, you may have to slide the film the left and right a bit as you start but it will invert and go down on its own just as it does when running the machine.
That film change over seemed slow, Perhaps he's not use to the machine. Cutting it into a triangle is just wasting time, and possibly increasing the chance the film will break while pulling it over the formers.
