SSFdR Project - Yakali (Yamko Rambe Yamko x Manuk Dadali) [Behind the scene]

This is Syarekat Seni Faculteit des Recht's (SSFdR) answer for the challenge of Padjadjaran University's Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa / Executive Board of Law Faculty, to rearrange two Indonesian folk music with a more modern-ish feel throughout the song. 1 month deadline was given to us, so we decided to do some extensive work with the songs.
Descriptively speaking, we gave some Smooth Jazz feel in the Intro and then in the first section of the song, Yamko Rambe Yamko, we throw a standard Pop musical structure and then fused it with some Brazilian beats with an European feel (together with a little touch of Rock in the end). In the second section of the song, Manuk Dadali, we throw some Indonesian famous musical genre called Keroncong fused with a little touch of Salsa to keep the audience excited with the flow of the song. In the Outro, we give you some syncopated play of Sundanese tunes to remind that this song is a masterwork of SSFdR who established in Bandung. #BandungJuara
