I've always hated this tattoo! The way he shades the area above the cleavage, it looks like that mermaid has a terrible sun burn. Just doesn't make any sense

Everyone freaking out about the animal transformation is by far one of the funniest parts of this compilation. Like the sound bites are so good,

Saint marqs stained glass tattoo was sick! The white highlights in the black outline really made it pop and made it look 3D almost I loved it!
I think chris' mermaid goddess is one of the best tattoos.
Plus he had to switch canvases, redraw, and tattoo all in the same amount of time as everyone else!
He destroyed it!

I'm absolutely in love with Chris' Poseidon/Neptune and Duffy's victorian piece. I'm not even gonna talk about the technique used by St Marq over the stained glass tattoo because it's SICK.

Glad they went with Chris on his Neptune as the other looked like a more cartoony version of King Triton from Disney's Little Mermaid to me.

They always edited to make the women look bad especially in the early seasons.
Showed a lot of the tattoos from this season without all that drama..amazing what people can do with ink and a Needle

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Season 6 was by far the best season. It had the best competitors because it seemed like every week anyone could win. It had great challenges and guest judges. And more than anything it had the best format: Master v Apprentice. If they ever bring Ink Master back, I hope they use that format again. I also personally think the human canvas jury was a great idea, but I understand why they took it away.
And again, whilst Chris the Marine overall deserved to win for his work over the full season, Kruseman's back piece was masterful and made him a worthy Ink Master.
No Chris did not deserve to win. He mocked his own Canvas.
Someone who treats his clients with such little respect does not deserve to be Ink Master.
Plus he chocked his daughter.
Military needs therapy.
As I was watching this I was thinking the same thing. This season had a lot of really talented artists and a few of these competitors may have won it all in other seasons. Not a lot of
"bomb" tattoos this season.
I feel like before they film the judging portion, they ask all the participants to shake their heads furiously, so they can cut it in later.
Lol I've watched this show for a long time and the faces and head shaking always crack me up

I will also say it must suck for him since even if he got it colored in it’s literally the same tattoo as some other rando out there. At least Tatu’s Baby master canvas replace the Indian girl with his wife as Red Riding Hood

All the tattoos wich were to look like glass were amazing, especially St. Marq's. He aced that one.
I liked Duffy's tattoo more than Katie's in that challenge although Katie's was more beautiful colourwise.
Earl's gothic arch window was great.
Chris' watergoddess was gorgeous 🥰.
Dave's and Kito's arm tattoos were great.
Duffy is a hell of an artist. If only she could hit that level on every tat

These guys are something else, looking like waiters to road workers farm hands to bar girls or mumsy, secretaries to exotic dancers, but they are ALL so very talented and gifted artists, mind bogglingly brilliant.
Whose the exotic dancer? lol
FYI the producers make them wear similar outfits throughout filming. Like Tyler Nolan mentioned Chris never wore overalls before the show.
My dad's a marine... Believe when I tell you that him and all his Marine friends will let _ou know they're a Marine every single chance they get
Chris was on a podcast and he said the Producers made him repeat them. They recorded two lines, one talking about how he works at his son’s school and the other being a marine
I love how they talk them out of rib pieces. My tattoo artist did the exact opposite. Went in wanting a small shoulder piece. Walked out a month later with a bit ass rib piece lol
Imagine a canvas standing there while they’re tearing apart the lifelong tattoo that just got put on their body 😂
Anyone else notice they edited out Oliver peck from the show but still used his voiceovers during the critiques?
Why would they do that? I don't follow the show so I know next to nothing about it.
@@mindlesswaffle There has been controversy surrounding Oliver Peck. He had appeared in photos in the past in black face. From what I read - This is one of the key reasons Paramount Network had dropped Ink Master in 2020. Plus, they shifted to movies.
Paramount+ is picking up Ink Master, but it looks like just reruns, I have not seen anything showing new seasons.

I wish there was a way to do this show without all the negativity and some humility ... love the art , it's so subjective ..I'm covered in tattoos have been for nearly 20 years ..love this show but there's an element that I can't put my finger on that I really really really hate. But I'll keep watching it definaltly . In summary, who cares what I think haha

I think it’s the constant putting down of other artists both from judges and competition
It’s seems like it’s never explained to the artists that the competition is hard and it is likely they will not be perfect but that doesn’t mean they’re a bad artist. Instead they just let them keep spiraling and having a breakdown because they think they suck.
You shouldn't have tattoos. They mess up your skin.
When I heard about the Victorian tattoo challenge I was so excited because I thought they were going to actually remake some of the Victorian tattoos that were in existence at that time there’s lots of pictures of beautiful Victorian tattoos that were just so incredible and I thought they were going to re-create some of those tattoos I was so excited and said when they just did lace it still came out wonderful but missed opportunity
For someone who just got my first set of tattoos (just minimalist ones), I'd defo love to be inked by Chris! His art is incredible!

So many of these people dont know how to draw a skull but it's a ok if you have a flat looking skull with messed up anatomy as long as your lineart is clean and bold. Smh

I wouldn't ever want to wear an American traditional tattoo, but I love the way they look on men.
Can we just mention the fact that the girl they try to turn into a “cheetah” is not a cheetah. Those spots are leopard spots not cheetah spots. They didn’t even tattoo the correct animal print. Cheetahs have spots whereas leopards have those rosette patterns.

I feel like it is a shame that they didn´t give Tattoo of the day for every challenge. St Marq´s Stained glass birds, Water nymph that Chris did, Tyler´s Scream tattoo o even Katie´s owl were so clearly the best of the day. (In my opinion of course). Getting just a H2H win over one or two artists kinda takes away their accomplishments, since there were like 5 other people who also got the same win with weaker tattoo.

I think he was just there for a celebrity judge for that day because he was in an Egyptian movie. But I don't like that they let him judge the actual technique of the tattoos. He could've just been there to say which he likes the best but instead they made him almost a real judge
I feel like I'm really impartial to the blues in the egyptian tattoos as I would rather have Dave's or Craig's on me any day in comparison to those chosen as the winners.
On the first master vs apprentice thing some of the wins and loses we’re just “why?.!!?” To me. Alone with most of them. Sometimes they’re obvious. But most the time I’m like”can they see at all??”
my fav challenge ever is always that stained glass head to head since everyone’s tattoos was so good and i would def get anyone of theirs‼️and they all kilt dat
