Same! I’ve tried acrylics a few times but they always dry so quickly, leaving me feeling rushed, and I’m still figuring out how to blend them. Obviously acrylic is a beautiful medium, though, and worth trying!

honestly loved this. it's so nice seeing someone approach an art tutorial with such a relaxed and embracing tone. none of the 'you must follow this rule and don't paint this colour over this!' talk just genuinely so calming and encouraging, a massive 'just try it out for yourself but this is what works for me' vibe. i've loved all your videos so far but if there's more like this as part of your plans for the future? then i'm excited

I learn painting from You Tube
    Bob Ross
    Kevin Hill
    Michael james smith
    And especially You
First i used ordinary Windsor and Newton
And now i use Acrylic... With same technique as painting with oil (wet on wet) and it's cheaper since my magic white is water and sometimes super white wall paint.
    You're great
Everytime i watch this channel... I learn something new.
    Thank You

Just wanted to let you know I appreciate you taking the time to do this. I've been painting acrylic (seriously) since 2016. I worked for one of those wine & paint companies for a year, then decided to go another way. I got into digital art, but something about acrylic landscapes keeps me doing those. After you've worked at one of those places you get the appreciation of being able to do a painting in 2 hours or less. The problem I found was that as an artist I wanted to IMPROVE from that method of fast pace and work on more quality paintings. It's hard being what I'd consider Intermediate and wanting to move into advanced. I can never really find anyone who wants to show the alternate techniques or how different they can be when working with acrylic. For example I do have a hard time blending on a piece that's already dried, but I also work on hard board canvas so it doesn't usually work adding water because it likes to sit in all the little spaces and it drives me up the wall. The last part of this is also that nobody really taught me how to color blend to the exact color I had before. So that was a whole new level of irritation I could have done without. Your color mixing is a whole new level for me which is awesome. Just, THANK YOU. Thank you so much for letting us see more and wanting to share your knowledge with us. It does make a difference.

Thanks for a video like this and I'm looking forward to more. I haven't been painting long, and one of the things I've had to overcome is concept that painting shouldn't take very long.I had it in my head that a "normal" painting shouldn't take more than an hour. It was really helpful at the beginning of your video when you said that this took almost three hours. It puts into context the time it really takes. The rest of the video was also very informative. I enjoyed being in the mind of a painter as they worked through a piece, especially when you went back and worked on the sky more at the end. A lot of times, I will "finish" one part or a painting and then later think, "too bad that part is done, I'd really like to change it." I'm really learning a lot from your videos. Thank you!

THANK YOU FOR SUCH INFORMATIVE VIDEOS!!!! I used to hate painting 'cause I was so terrible at it, but then I took some of your advice and became WAY better and now I can't stop painting! I like to mix my acrylics w/ water and treat my paint as if I was using watercolour 'cause I like the smoothness. I've been struggling, trying to make more realistic paintings and this video was very useful to me. Keep it up!! You deserve more subscribers and views than any other art channel out there!

Thank you for this video!!!!! Having a whole video dedicated to watercolor would be awesome too because I love the look of watercolor but never know what kind of art I should tackle with it.

This is absolutely beautiful! I haven't painted clouds in a hot minute, but they've always been one of my favorite things to paint

You could do that or you could do whatever you want whenever you want and take time off whenever and I'll show up whenever a video gets posted :) and I really love this painting!

Thank you for all the wonderful details. You used an angle brush for the whole painting?
