Holiday is a holiday, a break from work and trading is a job. All I would do on a break is just read books, think about setups and maybe do some testing. But placing trades in the market will add to stress and not enjoy the break
So it's good to take a break from trading when on holiday to recharge and refresh , and we can actually review our trading journal data if so inclined as merely journalling will not do much good. Plan ahead and discuss with friends and family who are also going on the vacation with us, exactly how much time we expect to be trading on vacation. Being affected by losing trades may affect our mood and spoil the vacation .
