This song is genuinely incredible- the lyrics, the instrumentals, all of it. I’m in that sorta place where I feel like I’m breaking a bit mentally, like the song describes, so I don’t think it could have come out at a more perfect time. Thank you, Good Kid!

Bubbly’s older brother. Break has seen some things. He’s more jaded, cynical, wry, wistful. The more slow-tempo of the two. Bubbly is in the peak adulthood high, running off endless energy at 3 AM in blinding neon lights. Break is after he’s hungover, crashed, and is reminiscing over everything. The meaning of life in all these places. The one suffering from crippling anxiety and depression and truly, deeply, intuitively feeling it. I needed this song. Thank you. I feel like i relate to this song a lot, the fact that he read "we all have to break sometime" and just ignores it. Like, " this won't happen to me, I'll never break down that bad", but you will and you just have to be able to recover from that. I don't know if this was the meaning or if i am just subjecting my own experience to it, nevertheless great song ❤️. Thank you good kid, for expressing the words I can't express on my own.

Good Kid 4 is shaping up to be absolutely insane. Personally, I think the lads have perfected their sound. While I love their music, a lot of their songs sound really quite similar, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But with Ground, which was completely new, sounds totally different to their regular style, and it's probably my favourite, to Bubbly, which was their usual sound whilst still being different i.e., mood changes at the end and contrasting with the lyrics, and now to Break, which once again is different in style completely. Absolutely fantastic stuff.
I get what you mean, I absolutely love it when they make songs in different styles. Ground is also one of my favorites because of that.
