Srinidhi Prabhu Shenoy yes all you have said is great , but there does not seem to be a single dialogue in tulu in this entire film, let us not forget that statistically speaking tuluvas are second largest group in kasaragod after Malayalis , yet all the love is shown only to Kannada and this despite the film was made by tuluvas, what an irony!!! It is not like Karnataka lost or others won. This was done for the better management of those places during state formation. Remember the whole India was once a group of small kingdoms. Very Excellent Movie. One movie which showed the importance of namma Kannada and Kannada medium school being getting closed. Rishab Shetty direction is always superb. Last scene where the anathnag argue in court is really wonderful part. And songs are very meaning full.

While our so called A-list actors are busy with shitty build-up movies, Mangalore and other Karavali film makers have taken Sandalwood by storm. Ironic that Tulu people are making better moves in Kannada than Kannadigas themselves. Love to all of Tulunadu, from Bengaluru!
Just an addition.. If you explore a bit more; these "Tulu people" apparently to a large extent; have retained and to some extent enriched the sweetest essense of Kannada in their Kannada dialect.. 'n they are as much "KANNADA PEOPLE" as the rest of Karnataka.. Talking about a-list actors... if only punch dialogues about them being a "true Kannadiga" could help our language more than their filthy stardom... Few film makers (IYKWIM) : big time they get slapped with some sense.. My intention wasn't to marginalize Tulu speakers as being different from Kannadigas, I just wanted to reference the demographic of Karnataka that don't speak Kannada as their primary language, that's all. Doesn't make you any less of a Kannadiga than me. In fact, Kannada is more prevalent in Tulunadu than it is in Bangalore. Also, you're right about A-list actors proclaiming to be "true Kannadiga" through dialogues but fly to European countries to shoot their movies and half the lyrics in the songs have Hindi/English words. The biggest of such irony I ever witnessed was in the movie 'Anjaniputra' where Puneeth orders the bad guy to stop talking in Tamil and speak in Kannada instead. Imagine having the audacity to remake a Tamil movie(frame to frame BTW)and then talk shit about Tamil. I'm not even sure if it's irony or hypocrisy. LOL Honestly, Rakshit Shetty has restored my faith in Kannada movies. Him along with Rishab Shetty, Pawan Kumar, Sumana Kittur, Yograj Bhat, Soori and a few other directors are the only reason I still watch Kannada movies anymore.

Very Excellent Movie. One movie which showed the importance of namma Kannada and Kannada medium school being getting closed. Rishab Shetty direction is always superb. Last scene where the anathnag argue in court is really wonderful part. And songs are very meaning full.

While our so called A-list actors are busy with shitty build-up movies, Mangalore and other Karavali film makers have taken Sandalwood by storm. Ironic that Tulu people are making better moves in Kannada than Kannadigas themselves. Love to all of Tulunadu, from Bengaluru!

If you explore a bit more; these "Tulu people" apparently to a large extent; have retained and to some extent enriched the sweetest essense of Kannada in their Kannada dialect..
'n they are as much "KANNADA PEOPLE" as the rest of Karnataka..
Talking about a-list actors... if only punch dialogues about them being a "true Kannadiga" could help our language more than their filthy stardom...
Few film makers (IYKWIM) : big time they get slapped with some sense..

My intention wasn't to marginalize Tulu speakers as being different from Kannadigas, I just wanted to reference the demographic of Karnataka that don't speak Kannada as their primary language, that's all. Doesn't make you any less of a Kannadiga than me. In fact, Kannada is more prevalent in Tulunadu than it is in Bangalore.
Also, you're right about A-list actors proclaiming to be "true Kannadiga" through dialogues but fly to European countries to shoot their movies and half the lyrics in the songs have Hindi/English words. The biggest of such irony I ever witnessed was in the movie 'Anjaniputra' where Puneeth orders the bad guy to stop talking in Tamil and speak in Kannada instead. Imagine having the audacity to remake a Tamil movie(frame to frame BTW)and then talk shit about Tamil. I'm not even sure if it's irony or hypocrisy. LOL
Honestly, Rakshit Shetty has restored my faith in Kannada movies. Him along with Rishab Shetty, Pawan Kumar, Sumana Kittur, Yograj Bhat, Soori and a few other directors are the only reason I still watch Kannada movies anymore.
