- Adrienne Houghton is taking a walk down memory lane, and also, looking toward the future. She explains how her reunion with her 3LW bandmate, Naturi Naughton, came to be. The entertainer also reveals what they are 'healing' from, and if there are plans to make music or start a new project together. Ahead of its 20th anniversary, Adrienne reflects on her time as a Cheetah Girl. She says she's hesitant to revive the beloved girl group, but says she's down to do anything with her former bandmate, Raven-Symoné. Meanwhile, Adrienne is busy making music with her husband! The triple threat exclusively reveals to ET's Deidre Behar she is dropping a live album on Aug. 19 called 'Worship Anywhere,' as part of husband Israel Houghton's band, New Breed. Beyond singing gospel music with her family, Adrienne also assures us she intends to eventually drop a solo album. Adrienne credits Adobe Acrobat for helping her stay organized in the weeks leading up to the album's release.

A Cheetah girls reunion movie/series would be amazing. Like with the girls all being established in their respective careers, say Galleria and Chanel both work for a Record Label, Galleria as a Writer/A&R, Chanel as a Writer/Vocal producer and they wanna develop a new girl group but the label isn't fully on board so they call up Dorinda and Aqua to help audition and develop a new girl group, it honestly could work as a series on Disney Plus tbh
You need to work for Disney ASAP.
Or you could go the route where they all are uptight busy adults who lost touch of who they were because they had a fight and went their seperate ways. This shows in their personal life with each one not living their full potential only to be reunited for either a high school reunion or the theatre ladys funeral. Chanels daughter could have a secret band or dream of being a star but chanel is to busy to support just like her mother was to busy... Galleria could be the underated poet/ song writer always the assistant instead of the star she thought she would be with people taking credit for her songs. Aqua could be huge fashion designer superstar who shut everyone out,and dorinda could be a drop out who got pregnant so she put her dreams on hold and became a dance teacher instead.

Sorry but Raven did not get where she is from Cheetah Girls…..she’s been a working actress since she was 3. By the time Cheetah Girls came out Raven was already a beloved, legendary actress. She also had been a artist before Cheetah Girls also.

I think she expressed on The Talk about how Hollywood typecast her voice as childish (paraphrasing) and it affected her a bit, so I’m sure it’s been a huge struggle for her. She was set to release something solo late 2000s but it never came out; I believe she also expressed her struggle with managing social media and meeting social media expectations since that was a big struggle for a lot of artists around that time

I love Adrienne down. She's so well at knowing how to not be shady towards Kiely at all. Knowing that she's mended her bond with Naturi is so beautiful. And knowing that both Adrienne and Raven don't mess with Kiely, but would do a Cheetah Girls movie with just the two of them is enough for me tbh. Kiely was so messy and nasty, so, I completely understand why neither Raven or Adrienne want to do anymore projects with her at all. I honestly can't wait for Adrienne's new album! Her voice has always been my favorite, and I've loved her since 3LW. I can't wait to see what else Adrienne has in store.
I'm going to be 100% honest Adrienne had to grow on me. Over the years I didn't like her because of the situation with Naturi and the 3LW drama. But then when I started to watch The Real a few years ago I saw another side of her, she was very vulnerable funny and loving. She loves with all of her heart especially in her relationships and she's very sweet when it comes to meeting her fans (she hired her fan Lana to be her assistant & treated her like family) all in all she's a cool down to earth person.
Naturi said it wasn’t Adrienne but Adrienne is about peace so she didn’t get involved and naturi was hurt by that because she expected Adrienne to defend her. Naturi said she felt like she had no one in the group. Kiely and her family are the ones who did and said everything to naturi not Adrienne
Same here, I always felt like Adrienne looked out for Adrienne. And whenever opportunities and the spotlight came her way, she would ditch other people for her own personal gain. Because let’s face it, with her being Puerto Rican and J-LO being the fad at the time, everyone wanted a piece of her back then. But I’m glad to see her embracing sisterhood over the past decade. Interestingly enough, everything that she’s had success in has always involved a group of women. (3LW, Cheetahs, Kardashians, The Real).

I hope they find it in them to have a sit down and talk with Kiely . She was just a kid when you realize she was only like 13 when their issues happened it makes the immature stuff make sense. I think after 20 years it’s fair to atleast give her a conversation. They were such a great group and they really could have went far . I saw an interview where Naturi says that Kiely took up for her when the management was trying to kick her out so I think there is some good there. I was glad to see Raven give her a chance that was a really nice moment
The problem is that Kiely doesn't want to do this. She has expressed that she wants nothing to do with Adrienne because Adrienne didn't reach out to her when her father passed away, and she and Naturi went at it again recently. Kiely vehemently believes her actions were warranted because Naturi called her mother out of her name during an argument. Very sad because context and perspective makes such a difference. If she had the capacity to see things from Naturi's POV she might be able to understand the frustration and stress that girl was under. No, that doesn't make it okay to disrespect someone's mother, but Naturi was also done wrong (I'm assuming by Kiely's mother and/or 3LW's label). And who knows what the state of Adrienne and Kiely's relationship was when Kiely's father passed? Perhaps they'd grown apart? And/or maybe Adrienne was going through her own shit? Hopefully she experiences some more growth one of these days.
The only problem is that Kiely has said she wanted an apology from all the girls. The problem is she played the victim when she is the one in the wrong. Both groups had their problems and most were from Kiely and she has yet to think that even almost being 40. It will most likely never happen to all four or all three girls ever again.
For the past 20 years Kiely has repeatedly talked about the drama in every single interview/Instagram live etc, carried (and is still carrying) the grudge even though Naturi and Adrienne have both moved on and rekindled. If Kiely only put the past behind her, they could reunite. Naturi was done the most wrong and even she has moved on.
Kiely holds too much hatred in her heart to have a sit down with them. Honestly not everyone is forgiving some people will hold a grudge until they die. Plus at that time Kiely's sister was her manager so she was whispering things in Kiely's ear to make her feel like she was better than both of them. Kiely thought that she was the star of the group and looked down on them. It's amazing how life works because Adrienne is booked and busy and so is Naturi ❤️

I still would like to see Adrienne,and Natori come back together and put out an album I think that’s what some of the original fans would love to see them get back together and put together a to 2LW ! Both of them have the strongest vocals of the group and you have to wonder hoping in the near future we will get this beautiful hour one day or something from them will be great 👍🏾

Everyone’s gotta pay attention to the common denominator. Kiely is in both groups and us the danced around subject. For cheetah girls specifically I don’t don’t know where Sabrina stands, I know historically she’s been linked closer to Kiely than the other two. But even when Raven and Kiely went on IG live and began the conversation to healing for themselves Kiely said she wasn’t ready to talk to Adrienne.

I think especially for cheetah girls, since Raven wasn't in the third one, it wouldn't be too strange if Kiely wasn't in the reunion/reboot. Of course the audience would know why, but it does have continuity. 1st & 2nd everyone was there, 3rd one Raven was not and 4th one Kiely is not

I always thought both Kiely AND Adrienne were the problems that led to Naturi leaving 3LW, but realizing it was Kiely didn't surprise me. I think Adrienne was caught in the crossfires and didn't openly stand up for Naturi like should have, and that's what probably pushed them apart. She didn't want to jeopardize her career or get on Kiely and her family's bad side. Kiely was the "elephant in the room" Adrienne mentioned. She was the problem. I'm glad Adrienne and Naturi are on good terms, though, but I don't think we're ever going to get a 3LW or Cheetah Girls Reunion because of Kiely's pride and stubbornness.

You have 3LW and then you have the Cheetah Girls. Raven is on decent terms with Keily (as far as I know after their IG quarantine chat) and she’s obviously in good terms with Adrienne. As far as 3LW, only Adrienne and Natari are on good terms. With all that said, I don’t think a “full” proper reunion of either groups would exist with Keily not being at a good place with both Adrienne and Natari. I can see a possible reunion with the Cheetah girls with Raven coordinating like a one-off type project for fans, but Keily would have to be willing to sit down and have a mature conversation with Adrienne that’s conducive to healing, just as Natari and Andriene were able to do. From what I seen online, Kiely gives off angry and bitter vibes and I don’t feel that Adrienne is at a place where she’s looking to argue and fight. With some mature, private, and authentic closure, a future cheetah girls reunion project is attainable.
