Good pointers there, thanks a bunch! Will hopefully be picking one up in the next couple of weeks so will definitely keeping an eye out for all those things.
That was great! Cheers!! Been on the looking for a decent disco for a while. Going to see one at the weekend. These tips will come in handy. Subscribed!
Subscribed. But please see if you can improve the camera lighting so we can see what you're pointing at or working on. This will be crucial for the "fixing" videos on the car. Cheers
@@lanceford98 Merry Christmas Lance! With the 265/75/16's, did you notice much in terms of loss of power and would you maybe go slightly smaller on the tyre size in the future if you had another go at it? Thanks...
@@big5astra hey merry Christmas tbh I would always go for that size unless I was going bigger on my tray back. Power wise wasn't an issue with a LoF power spec clutch and a very spicy td5 Inside map
Great info but I'm sea sick from camera shake and hosing. It is quite disturbing to watch with the quaking of the camera shakes. Thanks for sharing Try and concentrate on your camera steadiness and lighting plus show more of the TD5 rather than your face. You will get more subs and views if you improve on this quality
Re manifold? No don’t bother to have it machined it’s probably like a banana! Just buy a de-webbed already machined one then it will give you no more trouble!
Please please! Great info but PLEASE! Stop spinning the camera back and forth, we don’t need to see you talking we can hear you fine, an occasional turn to you is fine but it’s much more useful to be able to study what you’re talking about rather than making us dizzy by whipping the camera needlessly round for selfie view, we really don’t need it. Otherwise though a very helpful video! 👍😊
Definitely really worth a watch if interested in buying a TD5 Discovery 👍🏼👍🏼 looking forward to future videos around this truck
Great video had to do everything you have mentioned even the rubber part of the propshaft fell apart and is somewhere down the m5 !
Ah the lovely rubber donnut they do like the break at the worse times
Very helpful thank you, I'm going to be buying a Disco 2 soon. Turn it in to a tourer/overlander here in Australia.

No worries stick around to find out how to fix them as well !

Thanks for the sub I really apricate it! , I've bought some soft lights to film with now so no more bad lighting hopefully
The information is great. The shaking of the camera isn’t. Also, show the car items and not just your face the whole time.
Any chance you could keep the camera still for a moment ... otherwise good advice but a very nervous video (tip: get a gimbal)
I don't think there will be any Older Discoveries left by the time I even get the chance to buy one :(
Yes there will. Only issue is that prices are climbing big time for good ones. Rebuilds are worth ££££££££

The location of the solonide in the Discovery R2 engine and how to get it out
What size of tyre is on this Discovery 2? It looks a good balance between the standard and not being too big. Thanks
On this one is a 2" lift with some 265/75/16s. They are insa turbo Dakars

All I can see is this guys mush.
My mush you say ?
Info good but felt seasick within 5mins…steady the camera and stop moving it back and forth so much…really unsettling…Subscribed though
