This is gorgeous! I don't have a clear idea about the ply but I would love that yarn to have each section of color separated, so the final project would have a gradient rainbow 🤩
Great job, it looks beautiful... I have my rainbow flag hanging from my flag pole in the front of my house for the first time ever... So glad to see you creating rainbows..... Thank you!!! Look forward to see the spinning.. remember pride month is all month.. NYC/Stonewall is celebrated towards the end of the month.. Happy Pride!!!
Oh, I like to see you spin those up in a 3 ply, by one done in a 2 ply from a ball. I like to see 👀 😏 how all the colors blend together in the ply from your 2 ply yarn first 😍, and then from your 3 ply. Then taken last Year's, and comepar them side by side . Let us know how you did 😊 last year, and share how you did different this Year's 😀. I can't wait 😊 to see that next video. By the way I wish I could card as fast as you did in this video, LOL 😆.
🌈🌈🌈 another beautiful pride project !! :) im excited to see how you spin this one up and how it compares to your past rainbow yarn ! i also am looking forward to seeing these hopefully worked into a project someday i think it would also be a fun idea to try maybe spinning and using a trans themed yarn ! i always find that palette kind of challenging to work with since the colors are so sweet and light, i worry it always looks like im making something for a baby rather than a pride thing
Thank you! I agree, the trans colors are very pastel and that can be a challenge in a project. I'll work on that idea because I love a good challenge! 😊🌈✨🧶
I'm so excited to see the yarn that comes out of this batt 😍 I'm a relatively new watcher and you inspired me to start spinning yarn myself. I'm getting my blending board sometime next week and i can't wait to make some beautiful rolags and batts for spinning 🥰
This is great. I just acquired a louet and it looks so much more chunky that my existing Russian one. I now know what to use them for. Thanks for the tutorial and I'll have a go using them both.
I've been on a big kick of trying the same prep multiple ways lately. Comparing something like a single, chain ply, and corespun could be neat. Or even different ways of managing the batt. for one method.
Happy Pride! I cant wait to see how you spin it up! I dont know enough about spinning to suggest a technique but I enjoyed watching you run it through the drum carders!
Thank you for this Pride project. I'd love to see it in a 2ply fractal. Maybe not very adventurous of me to suggest but it would keep the rainbow colors more or less intact in the end product. Scott
Hi Evie, I hope you're all OK xx 💗 Your Batt looks beautiful Thankyou so much for sharing this video podcast. Any way you Spin this it will look amazing 👏. Can't wait to see your Sweater. Happy Spinning Fibre Friend Take care and stay safe Lots of love Jen xxxx 💖 ❣ 🐑🐑🌷
@JillianEve, Hi Evie, thankyou so much for the Heart Reply ❤ Sending Heart back to you ❤ Take care and stay safe Fibre Friend Lots of love to you all Jen ❤ 🐑🐑🎆🎆🌷🫂
@@JillianEve after I asked the question I continued to watch and you mentioned thr tpi on both so I felt stupid for not completely watching the video before asking. Thank you for answering this duh woman anyway. 🙃
I like the idea of a core spun but you have so much floof. I was thinking if you core spun with wire you could do rainbow bracelets as a kind of abandon art project in LGBT+ friendly areas. I also like the idea of spinning the same way you did last year to see the difference in the yarn.
this would make a WONDERFUL scarf with a 3 ply
Black, purple, and grey? Ace choice of colours!
My thoughts exactly!
I am obsessed with your channel. I'm binging everything 😍😍😍😍😍🌈🌈🌈🌈
Has it been spun yet? I'd love to see the final product but I don't see a video for it. Super pretty
I’d love to see a 3 ply of all these beautiful colors!
This is gorgeous! I don't have a clear idea about the ply but I would love that yarn to have each section of color separated, so the final project would have a gradient rainbow 🤩
It would make an incredible fractal spun yarn turned into a sweater

BOUCLE! BOUCLE! BOUCLE!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Oh that’s lovely! I wonder how it would look wet felted into a shawl, or even something like a bowl.
Oooh! A bowl would be amazing! 🌈🧶✨🥰
I'm so excited to see the yarn that comes out of this batt 😍

Love love love I think if when you have finished it you could weave it and make a pride bag xx
Stunning!
This is great. I just acquired a louet and it looks so much more chunky that my existing Russian one. I now know what to use them for. Thanks for the tutorial and I'll have a go using them both.
Great looking batt. I can't wait for you to spin it and show your new yarn. I say 3ply
I've been on a big kick of trying the same prep multiple ways lately. Comparing something like a single, chain ply, and corespun could be neat. Or even different ways of managing the batt. for one method.
Oooh! I love a good comparison spin! 🌈
I suggest spinning in the fold to keep the colors separate in a fractal three ply. Sounds like a challenge. Lol Love your videos.
Textured slubby single! Spin just letting the colours blend as they will.
Wow wow! I can’t wait to see what you do with this!
it's beautiful! i'd love to see a really textured and chunky yarn with it
Happy Pride! I cant wait to see how you spin it up! I dont know enough about spinning to suggest a technique but I enjoyed watching you run it through the drum carders!
The batt is beautiful and I look forward to seeing how you choose to spin it!
Thank you for this Pride project. I'd love to see it in a 2ply fractal. Maybe not very adventurous of me to suggest but it would keep the rainbow colors more or less intact in the end product. Scott
That look so lovely again, what a magician you are !!!
Just beautiful. No advice but I look forward to seeing what you decide to do 🙂
Thank you! 😊
wow, that's stunning!
That came out beautifully!!! This video was hypnotizing!
Lovely 💖🌈🌈
Z stripped 3 ply? I love the gradient barber pole effect you can get from Z stripping.
Go with the vibe!!!!!
A nice cable or chain ply would be lovely
I might be missing it, but I don't see what you used for the sparkle in the links. I'd love to know! Thanks :)
Beautiful! Would love to see a 3 ply! 😁💖
i love artclub! i got my RHL from them. have never gotten fiber from them since i'm still fairly new to spinning. will have to have a look!
They have lovely fiber!
Love how this turned out. That is going to be gorgeous yarn!
Very pretty💕
Spin on the fold.
Hi Evie, I hope you're all OK xx 💗

Lots of love to you all Jen ❤ 🐑🐑🎆🎆🌷🫂
Anything you do will be amazing. I was thinking gradient single? Is that even possible 😳?
I LOVE IT!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️
Hey Evie, I love your channel, I now have a spinning wheel and can't wait to get started. Did you spin this in the end? 😊
This is so lovely! You did amazing! For some reason the affiliate link isn't working
Thanks for telling me, I have it fixed now! 🌈🥰✨
What tpi are your drum carder I'm thinking of buying a baby brother. Thanks for all I've learned from you.
Mine is 90 tpi for finer wools and more consistent batts. I also have one with 72 that gives me more texture. 😊
@@JillianEve after I asked the question I continued to watch and you mentioned thr tpi on both so I felt stupid for not completely watching the video before asking. Thank you for answering this duh woman anyway. 🙃
So pretty! I’m curious why you didn’t feed through the smaller drum when you were doing the first batt?
Might be because it's already combed top so not required.
Toddler watched with me and learned a new word and kept saying batt
Can this be done as a fractal?
Awww, it's a good word to learn! Yes, colorful rainbow fractals sound fantastic! 🌈😊🧶
How about a cable plyed yarn?
maybe 2 ply but one of the bats to ply with it, the alternate single is in the trans flag colorway?
How about a fractal spin?
Hai
Is iT possible to dye a bat with foodcolering
As a trans guy into fibercraft who just started spinning I feel very seen
Happy pride!
🌈🧶✨🥰

There are just too many ways to work colour into fibre!
