Yes but certain breeds can only jump so high. My dog is a Cane Corso and very athletic and is the height the borzoi, but I would never have him jump anywhere near this height. If you noticed, the collie had a much easier time than the other dogs because collies are naturally more athletic. Dog jumping has nothing to do with the dogs personal height unless doing a true competition where they measure your dog and put you into a certain decision. It’s all about the dogs capability as an individual. These kinds of “competitions” are just for fun and the dogs get lots of praise, even if they knock a pole
Chances are the collie is a Flyball dog-note the jumping/landing style, and the mid-air turn. That dog almost certainly does Flyball and by height achieved agility to boot. Most Flyball dogs go to the left turning on a jump that’s higher than a foot-the springboard is easier to do on a dog’s left side turn as most dogs are left-dominant (though Flyball will accommodate both turning directions happily; the springboard boxes are made to be used in both turning directions). This would explain that sharp mid-air turn, which tends to be exclusive to Flyball. The dog literally lands facing a different direction.
