"FL GANG" i genuinly hope i win, coming from someone who lives in a financially unstable home my passion is to make music and to improve from my mistakes, sadly i cannot due to my single parent unable to provide money at all for barely even our simple needs. Ive been using the FL Studio Free Trial for awhile now and ive gotten pretty decent at it. Although i am good i would love to jam out and make great success of the Producer pack, thank you.
Yoo! Congrats, you're the winner of the FL Producer Edition giveway! We're also gonna hook you up with a free copy of our brand new plugin TRIFECTA! Drop your instagram or email below and we'll send you over the prizes!
Congratulations man
I hope I win next time 🥰
Congratulations bro you are the lucky guy❤🎉🎉
Congratulations, my man!
I been on FL 20 years now. The app has come so far. So glad to see FL get the respect it deserves.
Yes sir. Started on fruity loops 3.5, it has come such along way.
3.4
yepyepyup FL3 seems like a life time ago and i cant believe the looks and what it has developed in ways of its evolution and remaining streamlined praise be the 1,000,005 ways to do 1 thing!!!! i love FL@@PysterBeats
I used fruity loops for 10 years from 97 to 2007 then found Ableton
saved by ableton, drawn from the pits of FL hell@@mrobjects
I remember when Fruity Loops came out. It wasn’t taken seriously. People criticized it for being essentially a toy and not a serious production tool.
What we did back then was download pirated and cracked software because we couldn’t afford anything. The only real cost was getting infected by a virus from the keygen.
@@RyanHarris77super facts lol. Windows 98 XP days
That's what happens when ppl get shit for free. Hella pirating
@@RyanHarris77 Been there, done that . . I feel you 💯
People still occasionally treat it that way for some reason. Mostly just snobs who want to be "industry standard," I think. I'm sure there are a few pitfalls if you really dig into the nitty-gritty, but I guarantee they're negligible at best.
A lot of people don't know this, but Soulja Boy not only came up from FL, but he released his own animations to Newgrounds. FL, RUclips, and NG were a perfect storm
That's a fair point. Back in those days, most kids who knew about YT and NG probably wanted to create stuff as well. I'm sure plenty of them looked into what Fruity Loops was when they saw Soulja Boy make a hit song with it.
FL STUDIO SAVED OUR LIVES AND GAVE US A PURPOSE TO NEVER STOP.
FRUITY LIFE 😩🔥
as a 16 year old producer it actually really interesting and cool to see FL's full story and history with all of its achievements, nice video. FL gang🔥
I turned 17 last month, crazy to see more prods closer to my age 🦾
I turned 17 last month, crazy to see more prods closer to my age 🦾
Sup guys, keep it up. I've been using FL since I was 17, I'm 32 now. 😅
Bro… I’m 16 and I just got my music set up yesterday. First time touching FL and it’s soooooo confusing.
My inspirations are Pac, Dr Dre, Eminem, and Avril Lavigne.
I'm also 16 🤯
This needs to be a series !!! Great work!!!
Been using FL since 2005, no other software can let you make a beat or song within 45 mins. It's workflow is just unparalleled. Although, I do enjoy Studio One, I always come back to FL
ableton + logic can get'r'dun quickly 2
That DJ Khaled part cracked me so hard, we often wonder with my friends wtf does he do... Anyways, thanks to FL i learned production and upgraded to other DAWs, i've started almost 20 years ago, so watching it grow so much really brings a tear to my eye
He eats lol that’s the best thing he can do. He’s the only one in the studio stuffing his face with Rick Ross sucking on wingstop the whole session
He yells DJ Khaled, mostly
D J Khaled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@@JakkeJakobsen
Khaled needs to hit the Gym! FL is 2 PHATT 4 Him! 💯💯🔥🔥🎧🎧
I have never liked any song from him.
I started with FruityLoops 3 back in 2001 :D
nice i was a 1.0 starter
FL Gang!
Awesome video. Good to know where all this came from! Thank you so much for sharing!
Great vid man
FL Gang🚀🔥
Started this journey 6 years ago with FL Studio 11. Seeing the innovation along the years is crazy.
You should have highlighted 9th Wonder. He is the one that really put FL on the map as far as hip hop producers. I remember first hearing Little Brother in 2002 and in 2003 there were rumors of 9th using FL. I had known about it from people using it on their computer, but I couldn't believe someone was actually using it to make full hip hop beats used on commercially released albums. I discovered it was true and he used it for a while. This was years before Soulja Boy had a single. 9th produced "Threat" for Jay Z on FL.
Yeah to mention Soulja boy and leave out people like Deadmou5 is crazy. many producers were using fl waay before that song including me and a friend of mine owned a music studio baack in 2004 and fl studio was well known but mostly for electronic and techno
Years later Soulja Boy admitted it wasn't Fruity Loops he used but a demo version of Mixcraft
@bigolbabyhuey the thing is he used FL stock samples to make "crank that"
@@bigolbabyhuey nah he made the beat in FL Studio but recorded the song in Acoustica Mixcraft. you can check the vlad interview
@@Mega.6it’s because before Soulja boy people didn’t really respect FL studio or fl producers. People thought fl could only make corny beats. People had that hardware/mpc mindset or just sucking off cubase, reason, or pro tools.
Awesome video! I tried the demo of FL studio way back in 2000 when I first heard of it (back then it was just Fruity Loops) but was immediately addicted and got all my friends into it at that time. Since then life happened and I haven't been back to the program until this year! Soooo much has changed! And its great to see the history of it all
Really appriciated the Video ! FL GANG !
As a 17 year old RIGHT NOW who started on FL almost a year ago, this video made me happy😂
FL GANGGGGGGG!!! Love the vids you be helping my journey on producing . Keep it up brotha 🖤🖤
Dope bro
Much love I remember first hearing about this software. It allowed my friend the opportunity to chase his dream doing dj gigs.I would love the opportunity to come full circle. 🙏
Love thisss! 🎉
Y’all really be helping us small producers out 🙏🙏
FL GAAAAAANG ‼️‼️
First person I knew as a producer using FL Studio is 9th Wonder. He made me want to produce. He was using it in 98 99. He did Jay Z Black album using FL. Studio. He should have been the main producer highlighted in this video!
Exactly and he produced Destiny's child song "Girl" In 2004.
Facts... and I feel like every FL Studio OG should be making this comment.
Good video bud 👍
I myself got knowledge about the music production through FL Studio tutorials and downloaded to try it out. Thanks man, Learned something new. FL Gang forever 😊
very well put together i was watching it getting goosebumps in awee at how FL came about
Great video! Used to use Fruity Loops around 2005-7 or so up to about 2011. Just this year started getting back into my music again .
Why did u ever stop ?
yo just recently started making beats, i literally dropped out of highschool to do school online and i found fl studio, a short time later i actually fell in love with producing, FL GANG FOR LIFE!!!!!!!
Amazing deal bro 🤟🖤.
Fl gang for LIFE !
This was an awesome video and some much knowledge dropped. Thank you for making this. FL Gang
Crazy back story. Its always interesting to learn how these things come about that so many people enjoy.
You gotta love the underdog!
Very cool video, it’s always interesting to see the humble beginnings of something that becomes known worldwide.
FL STUDIO is the Goat 🐐 People forget why it became so popular. Back in the days around 07, 08 there was no way to make good beats unless you bought expensive gear like keyboard workstations that were $3,000 & up & $2500 mpc’s etc. FL Studio made it possible for us to get in the game! Most of the new producers came from FL 💯💪🏾
FL Gang! Great historical perspective. Thanks!
Great video, not too long
FL GANG ! This informative video was surprisingly intriguing, since i didnt know image line started out as a collective of age restircted games. Thank you for the informative content bro! I would like to see more
This shit hit me hard. Cracked fl at age 16. Life changed.
waiting for porntris remaster
@@idontwannatypeaname 😭😭 It should come as a plug-in
FL Gang 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Great vid
FL Gang for life. Like literally, I've been using it since 2005, and I use it for everything. I've made beats/songs for other artists, composed full soundtracks for theater and film, played my own songs live with midi out to hardware synths, and with the performance mode played entire live sets with it. And now they have their own version of Splice, and a stem splitter tool. All that for one time purchase. No subsciption models, no always online, no sound restrictions on demo version.
Achei a história super interessante, adoro o FL studio.
More videos like this please ... the history behind the other softwares
It's 5:30 on a Wednesday evening, the sun is setting and a cool breeze flows through your room while listening to the same damn 10 second loop
Great to see this. I started at fl 0.50 or so. Everyone was teasing me. Now all is using fl
Spooked by how image line first was a p*** game industry 😂, I’ve gotta say fl studio in the current state is better than ever, I’d love to get my hands on it 💜! FL GANG 🔥🔥
Man I started off FL studio 7/8 when I was 10 years old off a windows xp computer! Man how times have changed
Oh and Fl Gang
That Lex Luger cook up back in the day made everyone love Fruity Loops I think.
FL GANG Represent ! great video!
FL Gang Gang 🤘🏽
Thanks for the history lesson too brodie
FL GANG 🔥🔥❤️❤️

Man... I remember the day I downloaded FL Studio over a decade ago when I was about 14. It was pirated and an other kid in school got me hooked on it. I haven't touched it in probably 6 years and I don't even have the program/pc anymore. Now two weeks ago I started getting into (trying) to make/learn music/producing again. So this is a very exciting chance to really get back into it again. Loved your story!
Thank you sir for creating a blessing like Fl Studio. I was 13 years old when i got it.. And i made 70 western originals with it
FL GANG🤧😮💨⭐️🖤💖✨ saving the music game hopefully it can save me I hope I get me Fuity Loops 😅, FL GANG FL GANG FL GANG FL GANG 🍓🫶 - P.S. I love the video teaching new and old generation about how the more modern hip hop culture started not to many people know about that you did well explaining everything in the video I’m a new viewer keep up the good work you got my sub☺️ I enjoyed it very much thank you “5:57” 🎉
Ong Fl Did so much
Can’t lie these videos really be helping me out 😴
Shoutout to Sauceware and their new interesting plugin about to release !! FL GANG
Been using Pro Tools and Ableton for many years. I just downloaded the demo version I didn’t not where to start 😂. Looking forward to learn it. It’s a bummer that the demo version doesn’t let you open your session again. Ohh well, gonna start using it. FL Gang.
export your beats with the stems.
I used the demo version for a year and it made my work flow faster.
since I can’t save and come back to my projects,
i had to teach myself to finish and export any beats i make.
FL GANG 🥭
Been working on fl for a year now and I m so happy with every thing this app had to offer!
This was 🔥🔥✊🏾 y’all don’t sleep on Cubasis3
Fl gang ! ✊✊As someone trying to make music the journey of fl studios really inspired me. I think fl really gives you good resources and options to produce music finely. Wish i could have that tho. But i love seeing production videos of fl studios .
it's funny that the video of soulja boy explaining FL is literally what started my path on FL, and at that time, any tutorials on the program were only reggaton beats lol. Never looked back.
I never knew the history behind fl studio and image line wow thanks for this insight
FL Gang 🔥🔥🔥 this vid is fire and i didnt know that drako used fl 😂😂
Would really love to finial have fl studio producer edition..the demo version could be really tasking sometime.
Big Salute to Sauceware and the FL GANG!
FL gang ive been starting to get into music a little for myself but it cool to know such an cool software was made :)
I'm happy to live in the founding country! Well explained! Also FL GANG!! 🔥🔥
FL GAAAANG!!! Loki you've inspired me to start making beats again!!! I'm still fucking terrible at it but I'm tranna learn and improve every day
I remember back in 1999 or so, my dad bought a computer magazine which had a demo disc in it, and on that disc, Fruity Loops was included! I believe even Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 was on that disc, lol.
I've been FL Gang since fruity loops 3, I still remember how hype I was when they first dropped the piano roll 🤣
FL GANG, much love from Nairobi
I’m in tears I didn’t know FL and I are almost the same age lmao.
I started using FL Studio in 2002. A great music program 👊🏿
as someone who been is studios as a child and have worked on really expensive equipment fl studio is probably the best way to make music tbh
Fl gang 4l I just started with the free trial and learning 🔥🔥
I've tried out some daws but I must say I love FL studio a lot. FL GANG.
Fl gang, that home studio part is a dream man
i started in the early 2000s after using Cakewalk and Cubase, and being in a rock band
but then, my band members moved away, and i still wanted to make music
I mainly use it for rock, blues and folk
sometimes i experiment with jazz and r&b and country...
FL Gang !!!!! On fruity loops before 2007"s "Crank That", we beeeeen FL Gang ova here 🖐🏽‼️💪🏾
Started with verson 7 until now I'm only using the demo version along with reaper to make my songs but it changed my life for real! FL GANG!!!!!!!!!
I started on Fruity Loops 3. Boy, does time fly.
Nice Video and Information about FL Studio.... Thank you... FL Gang
FL GANG - I learned how to produce on LMMS, but FL studio was the first place where my creativity really flourished 13 years ago. Would love to get back into producing.
YOU ARE THE GOAT
I remember well, been with it since the beginning on windows vista
Fl gang 🙌🏾
I remember when FL was looked down upon. I remember when people asked me what do I use to produce music, Fl would of been frowned upon. Many producers were using Logic, Reason & Cubase at the time. Thinking I should change cuz my music doesn't sound clean.
I remember seeing BTS with Prod. Lex Luger and he was using FL!! It Gave me faith.
I stucked with it till this day and I am so glad that FL is going strong and gets recognition.
FL GANG ALL DAY!!!
as much as I try to avoid this daw i always find myself coming bacc lol
Fl gang🔥🔥🔥❤️
Fl GANG Always ❤️🔥
FL GANG❤ I found fl4 in a software CD and learnt to make some noise reading manual and deconstructing demo songs without the help of online tutorials. FL is not a piece of software, its like a friend who grown up with me and it will stay with me forever. It got me through countless depressed and stressed moments of life. I love it.
I've been a FL Studio man since 2001 on free a demo version of Fruity Loops. Honestly, Fruity Loops helped to keep me out of jail, because in my desire to produce music, I swiped a Boss drum machine and something like a Casio. Fruity Loops made it to where I never had to take those risk again.
From 2001 to 2019, off and on, I would still use a demo versions of FL. In 2020 I brought a used Macbook with FL 2012 installed on it. All of my current beats, to date, are done with FL Studio 2012. In 2022, I was finally able to purchase my own copy of FL Studio. The recent up dates are amazing. FL Studio all the way.....
Got Trifecta Beta downloading rn ima update on how good it is
FL GANG and good luck to everyone on the come up!!!
