Some of the best profiles I've ever heard. I literally loaded them up and tried them while you were demoing them and they sounded identical to your video, I used to own that amp and you nailed it.

Thanks for the great profiles! I will buy these they soung amazing! one thing I can't find is a great Hendrix UNiVIBE Profile! Actually no univibes at all. The stock one in Kemper is ok. Please create one! I will buy it immediately!
Sadly it is very hard to get a good Univibe in the Kemper. The presets they give you are too phaser’y. Hard to get that ‘throb’
Just bought the PT-100 and 80s rack. Some nice stuff in there. Can't tell much difference on some of the Bright On and Off patches on the PT-100, but can up the presence on those anyway.
Cheers mate. The bright switch becomes less effective as the gain goes up so it’s quite subtle. Just adds some attack on the front of the notes.
Sounds great. I have a friend that has this amp.

Hello Dan! Congratulations for the great timbres and videos you make! Watching a video of yours in which you use the volume pedal out of the 6 expression pedal input options on Kemper... what would be the connection order to have the volume pedal the way you used it at that event?!
Expression pedal input 3 on the remote is default for volume pedal but you can re-assign it in the menu if you wish 👍

Love these tones and your playing! Bought this pack last evening …I’M from USA. Can you share you connection from Kemper to DAW. Do you use XLR out of Kemper to TRS into interface connected to computer and DAW OR do you have a powered head into pedals and Amplifier? Thx in advance
XLR out of the Kemper into XLR inputs of a Behringer UMC404HD. Logic is my DAW. No post processing at all.

Any chance you can answer me this? Why does the Kemper Stage NOT HAVE AN ON OFF SWITCH? Is this beneficial?
I don’t work for Kemper but the stage has a power button. Top left of the main panel.

Hey man, I apologize in advance for a question you have probably already answered elsewhere. I’m very close to pulling the trigger on a kemper. I’m a home player and have little to no desire to play out or in a band. I play at home to music or backing tracks. I play at low volume (TV volume I suppose) because I have a family. I have been using a little Yamaha THR10 for a few years and it’s great for this purpose, but I want to upgrade and have better and more tones.
I was going to get the unpowered kemper and Yamaha HS5s as I have seen a few people say they worked well with the kemper.
Any recommendations for someone in my situation? Any monitor recommendations?
Is it worth it to get the powered kemper so I could use the kemper cabinet?

Kemper cabinet would be overkill if you are only playing at TV volume to be honest. It would be far more bass heavy too which may cause more complaints from the family. I personally prefer Adam audio monitors over Yamaha. I use the T7V, perhaps check out their T5V models? I find the high frequencies are more smooth on the Adams. Less fatiguing to listen to over time.
@@DanLeggatt thanks for the feedback man. I ended up getting a kemper and some Yamaha HS5s. I have 30 days to do returns and exchanges so if if not happy with these monitors maybe I’ll try something else. First time using the kemper but I’m learning fairly quickly with the basics. I already bought some profiles from a guy who makes slash style profiles and some of them are pretty awesome. It’s a used unit so there was some tone junkie and M Britt stuff on there already. I have been going between headphones, the monitors and even plugging it into my Yamaha THR10 on flat mode which sounds pretty decent. I have done all this with no tweaking. Need to spend some more time and get it dialed in.

@@DanLeggatt hey man, so you have been using the Adam T7V with your kemper for a while right? I think I’m going to order a pair and compare them to the HS5s I have. I have a 30 day return so I’ll compare and see which one I prefer.
So man I am loving the kemper. Interestingly I have been playing the kemper through my Yamaha THR10 modeling amp on flat mode and it sounds better than the Yamaha HS5s. I think I’ll still try the Adams but perhaps the THR10 will do the trick and I could that money toward some good headphones or maybe the kemper pedal / foot control.
Is it just me or do the free profiles sound a bit dark? Might get the pack as sounds great here
Sorry I missed this comment. Not sure if you got the pack or not but worth checking your master EQ, can also be guitar / pickup dependent too. Pretty easy to brighten them up a bit with the EQ for your particular setup if you do find them dark. Cheers 👍

I believe I do. I have the XLRs set to a constant level and the main volume knob just controls my monitor or cab level on stage.

BTW you feeling any new devices coming into your home such as the Headrush? The QC with latest updates seems a bit more desirable.
The Headrush is interesting to me but I don’t think I’d replace the Kemper with it for touring. Would love to try one!
I think the QC sounds good and like the interface but I find the physical size too small for me. I have big feet and I’m a little clumsy. In the heat of a show, those buttons are just too close for me personally.
I’m interested by the Fractal FM9. Been hearing great tones out of the new Fractal stuff.
@@DanLeggatt l’m not trying to keep your attention and take up your time but l can’t help but think that Kemper has something new coming NAMM is here soon and l will be surprised if something is not revealed. If not, Kemper needs to wake up and pay attention to the Headrush and Helix user screen. Blessings to you.
@@markinthemix6055 To be honest with you, I would love to see something next level from Kemper. Considering how old the hardware is now, it still hangs tonally with all the new comers in my opinion. They just need to increase the flexibility of the unit and smash out a new user interface and they would smash it!
Having said that, I would be very surprised if they did. I haven’t heard any rumblings or anything new. So it could be a very well kept secret but I’m not getting my hopes up.

Only one hearing how closed these sounds are and just small in general?

from 900 presets on my kemper i kept 11.
Might be my ears I dont know...kemper profiles seem to be lacking alot.
So rare to fing open and roaring ones.
It’s all personal preference at the end of the day. You probably dial in amps differently to me.
Plus a lot of it is context and application. These are my touring profiles, dialled in to fit a band mix. If you have loads of low end it may sound ‘big’ at lower volumes on your own but as soon as you get that at gig volumes in large venues you’ll loose clarity and FOH will hate it or carve out loads of bottom end.
are these profiles for folks who play straight through a cabinet without a cab sim ? if not do you have anything like that for sale ?
I often use these with a ‘real cab’ just bypass the cab block. These aren’t DI profiles but they perform very well like that.

Are there any merged or direct profiles within to use with a live cab?
Hi mate, sadly not. I’ve compared merged profiles to the studio ones with the cab removed and the difference is very minor to my ears on the profiles I use so I don’t tend to opt for merged. I’ve used these with a number of backline cabs (Marshall 4x12, Orange 2x12, fx return of a hot rod) and they do work great.
Perhaps I should include some direct profiles in future releases?
