In this episode, Anqunette Parham is joined by local mental health clinicians and advocates to discuss mental health literacy and its role in your life. Our panelists were Dr. Reverend K. Edward Copeland, New Zion Baptist Church Lead Pastor and Winnebago County Mental Health Board Member, Dr. Kevin Thomas, owner of MENtality Unchained LLC and marriage, family, and trauma therapist, as well as Professor Layla Sarquis, psychology consultant and founder of Multicultural Solutions LLC.
    City of Rockford’s Health and Human Service's health literacy initiative, Rockford Ready, aims to build a healthier tomorrow by empowering residents to take control of their health through education, community engagement and promoting access to the COVID-19 vaccine and booster.
