Thank you!! My new-out-of-the-box Typhoon H had this exact problem. I removed the camera/gimbal, as you said, then lined it up and re-installed it on the aircraft. I powered up the controller, then the aircraft, and VOILA!! It straightened up and I had video and I could calibrate the gimble. Thank you... Sub'd your channel and a thumbs up!

I just got My q500 and the CGO3 Camera isn’t showing any WiFi to connect with on the st10 , it connects with the drone but not the camera, please what can be done? It’s really frustrating

Thanks RC....The majority of these problems do stem from hard landings, crashes, or in some cases the user actually removing the camera and not installing it properly. So far, it has been a rare occurrence to see this type of problem right out of the box.
Judgey GX: I'm not sure if its a QC issue. The camera is made to take on and off. Sometimes this happens if you take it off and put it back on without locking it in properly. Bottom line is if for any reason you are not getting power to the camera, taking it off and putting it back on usually realigns the contact points and solves the problem. A beeping pattern means that at least one of the motors or circuit boards on the gimbal need to be replaced. When replacing these parts, the gimbal will also need to be calibrated. I tried my Typhoon H and camera out after buying it from a fella. The camera movements functioned as they should, but no video and says no SD card installed and I tried several of my 4K cards. . I then tried a suggested RUclips instruction as tapping SYSTEM SETTINGS on the ST16 and then after clicking OK, the main screen showing the camera came up on the screen. I tapped on it and returned to the main screen and still no video. All other functions worked and I slid the gimble on and off a few times and same thing.

Chris I have a request if you could make a video on just the controls of the camera. Every one just goes and points out the up and down slider and the pan knob, but nothing about the 3 level switch and one next to it on the st16. This would be a very big help.
In some cases if it is not fully charged, the blue light next to the on and off switch will turn on, but the controller won't. Always make sure your charger is fully charged. If that isn't the case, I would contact Yuneec because chances are yo uare still under manufacturer warranty. I wouldn't want to mess with a screwy controller.
Hey Paul sorry I didn't get back sooner. Sounds to me like your camera needs to be re-calibrated., which means you might have another issue too like a broken motor on the gimbal. The software to do this is only available to Repair Service Centers and luckily we are one. This is most likely do to the computer that you are viewing the film on. Most computers have trouble processing 4k video unless they have really good processors. Try recording in 1080p and see if it is any better.
Hmm...is your memory card full? Or do you have a memory card in? Silly questions I know, but you never know! Other then that, perhaps rebind. Or go into camera settings and make sure your corrected to the correct camera type. On the bottom right of the screen, if i recall correctly, there is an option to switch between video mode or picture mode. Make sure your in picture.
Hey John. It sounds like you may need to re-calibrate your controller. You can test the controllers in the "hardware monitor" section in your controller.

The Camera constantly moves SUPER SLOW by itself. And now that i customized it with your items i lost me warranty. So i can't even get exchange it

Lol I just unplugged the Camera from the Copter then plugged it back in. Now it works again. But i have over $1000 in customizing on this Typhoon H Lol i was speaking to your customer Service rep a few months ago. He was helping me install the Antenna kit. I told him everything i had gor the Typhoon H - and he laughed at me and said "John you literally bought every accessory for a drone you can" So because i use it for search amd Rescue I HATE sending the unit in. Cause then i dont have it for weeks. Is there a Repair manual or a Step by Step guide that you would do to service the camera, that you could send me. So i can Repair it myself?
@@TerrestrialImaging I think it was the Battery in the ST16. Becuase now it is Not working at all and the Battery Failed Signal is on. So I went to your site ajd just ordered a New 1.
There could be many reasons that your camera can not connect. It is hard to diagnose this problem without looking at your camera. If you would like it repaired, fill out a repair ticket at terrestrialimaging.com/repairs.
Chris thanks for your reply i purchases the typhoon in Dec 2016 from the States the company i purchased it from refuse to honour any waranty they will not repair sujested it was to expensive to return and said i should buy another cg03 plus ha ha cost to me $629 Australian not a very good reflection on USA sellers of yuneec, several emails to yuneec in usa no answer have to try and souce some one in Australia. i Trust yuneecc are listening

This could happen to any of us at anytime. Simply taking it off and putting it back on realigns the contact points and can avoid unnecessary downtime. Hope it never happens to you but if it does, it could be a simple fix.

So all you have to do is dismantle the camera and then set it back?
Its one of the possibilities, it could also not be bound properly.

Is it possible to buy those 6 pin contacts that go to a camera? I know there are contacts for the drone side of the mount.....

I bought a refurbished Typhoon H 480 upgraded to 480+. My camera video glitches and it even looks the same on the SD card installed on the camera.

when I insert my miro sd card in. the transmitter says sd card not recognize I tried 3 different SD cards please advise
Make sure that you are inserting the card into the camera not the transmitter.

what about if you are getting power but no picture or wifi?
That sounds like the wifi board may have gone bad.
Why even with my PAN off my camera moved 360 very slowly. During flight. Wh does it do this
