I've installed some sites as apps like RUclips. Whenever I open them, a new tab in Edge opens. Then, when again I open RUclips, it works.
It means do I have to keep Edge opened if I wanna use those sites?!🤔

Sorry, I was able to turn off the extension but when I go to the extensions page it still comes up there saying that it was blocked. Can I remove it completely just to be sure?

It is disabled but it still says in the extension that "this extension is not in the chrome store" there's an option to remove it but it just doesn't work..
Although yes it's disabled now and chrome and edge is normal

This fixed it for me. I actually went on a big clearing spree beforehand and now, at the very least, my computer seems to be working a looooooooooot more smoothly. So I might have had more minor viruses before this, or maybe my computer was just too full of junk. Either way, deleting the policies seemed to fix the problem. Malwarebytes managed to quarantine nearly everything, but something was still screwing with Edge, causing Malwarebytes to block pretty much any site I tried to go to because of "searchemsia". I did this and it's working fine now.

Had the problem of Google continuously going to yahoo looked for hours and tried so many things from scans that said nothing was wrong to do many vids until I noticed a extension that I couldn't remove or control certain permissions controlled by an organization this video stopped that while it didn't remove it. It's now flagged and doesn't switch up on me

For me when i emter the first 2 commands it says access denied, pls helpp
None of these worked for me. However, this did:
Run CMD as admin, the copy/paste the following one at a time and press enter:
taskkill /im msedge.exe /f
reg delete "HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Edge" /f
reg delete "HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Edge" /f
NOTE: The second one didn't work for me but the first and third one did.
Then restart your computer and it should work just fine.

why there is no edge folder on my pc?
It worked, but after a while it appeared again. Its my personal and school laptop, so I set up my computer at home with personal email and I take it to school and connect to their network. Is it because of that or do I have malware?

Create a new user account and then check if you get the same.
I did Edge Management and it was completely blank, Just a white page displaying nothing.

Just uninstal the microsoft edge and use chrome

Try Repairing Windows
Search cmd then run as admin and execute the following 3 commands one by one-
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Restart.
Once Done Trying Running System File Checker SFC Scan
sfc /scannow
Restart.
Windows Updates-
Install all the latest Updates and then Restart the PC.

@@pousthemocoLa forma en la que encontre el mio fue dando ctrl+F para buscar y en la barra de busqueda escribí algunas de las policies o politicas de seguridad que estaban activas y eso me llevo a ese sitio. Prueba hacer lo mismo.
