      Its a medical condition without any evidence?? And they call it a deformity???!? To me it looks like a painted fairytale to make money.
      Im a guy and to be perfectly honest; i think tubular breast are so hot! I googled and watched a bunch of them and to me they look sooo damn attractive. What some industries push as attractive traits has nothing to do with nature and reality. It hurts my heart to read that you feel so bad over your breasts. Be strong girls, don't let media dictate your feelings about your bodies.

      @@Urmom666. Im so sorry for what has happen to you. Being bullied and treated bad because of others personal insecurities. I have been bullied too once, when I was young. So I know how much that hurts your self-worth and self esteem. But it can also make you very strong if you find the right way to cope with the situation.
      If you could only run into that right confident man. Because Im sure there are some men that will find your breasts beeing their "dream-shape", b and c sized breasts are NOT the MOST attractive for all men! Sometimes ppl need to be reminded that beauty is not objective.
      I have five close friends and all of us find diffrent female traits extra attractive. Sometimes I think "how can he find her so attractive?" and then I realize how funny nature is because my friend would think the same thing about the girls I prefer.
      Anyway: You should do what YOU want, not what men want. I just tried to give you another perspective on your situation. Good luck in whatever you choose to do.

    I am 23 and now looking into getting this procedure done because I can finally afford it. Both of my breasts are tubular and look almost identical. Ever since I was 10 I knew I was different, my breasts didn't look anything like the other girls in my gym dressing room, and my friends breasts. Shirts looks so weird on me when I am braless, the extreme 'perkiness' and zero roundness of tubular breasts look very strange and unnatural without a bra on. And I have never in my life worn a bikini top. I have never let a doctor give me a breast exam because of the shame. The existence of this deformity for me is the very root cause of my intense body dymorphia I have now, and my intense self esteem issues. I feel like my teenagehood was actually stolen from me. I have had two boyfriends and neither of them I had/ have ever seen my breasts, I literally simply would not let them see. I would always be wearing at least a bra. My ex no doubt cheated and left me because I was so insecure about my body, and didn't let him see me. My current boyfriend of THREE YEARS hasn't even seen them, other than like maybe once when I was drunk as hell. Even now I cant tell my boyfriend *why* I am getting a boob job, only that I am, because I am THAT self conscious about him even knowing of the existence of this deformity. My boyfriend is against a boob job but he doesn't understand the extent of this issue for me at all. I will be updating here when I get the consultation done, and finally the exam. Pray for me girls

    I love this video so much, I have tuberous breasts and have struggled with body image issues since I was 12-13 years old. I would wear multiple bras to look like I had ‘normal’ boobs, I didn’t show my first boyfriend my boobs for a long time because I was so scared he would think they were disgusting, even now with my partner of 4 years I will cover my boobs when I realize he is looking at them. It is my absolute dream to have this procedure done after I have children and even the thought of seeing myself afterwards makes me emotional. when you talked about how happy you are and said you finally feel like a woman, that really hit home for me. I thought to myself “that’s how I want to feel!” 😭 I’m 23 and have tubular breast deformity as well. Since the age of 12 I knew something was off about my breasts I never filled out a bra I was over weight but my breasts never grew and were odd shaped. I looked online to figure it out when I saw “deformity” and that hit me like a ton of bricks which proceeded to throw me into so many horrible years of body dysmorphia, I lost so much weight and got into health when I was 16 but I could never be truly happy with my body or proud of myself bc of my breasts. I went in for a consult at 19 and the cost was insane for me at that age, and I kinda just stuffed it down like you did, I did come to appreciate my small weird boobs but it does still hold me back in more ways than I’d like to admit. I really feel like I’ve gone over soo many reasons as to why I shouldn’t get it done, “it’s vain, it’s expensive, it’s risky, breast implant illness, etc, etc.” but this has genuinely pushed me to really look into getting this done for myself. thank you for using your platform and your voice to help others not feel so alone!

I lost weight before my surgery which made my boobs smaller and why I didn't need a lift. the surgery itself is sorta a lift anyway, but some people want/need an additional one. I just found this video because I just found out I had it from the same article. I haven’t told anyone not even my mom I’m too insecure to tell her even though I feel like I should tell her. This has recently become an insecurity of mine and seeing other people share their story has brought me to tears because I thought I was the only one. I started to notice because I’ve seen people have underboobs and I was like were are mine. I mean I even have difficulty taking showers because I mean I have to wash them and well it’s hard touching them knowing it’s something I’m insecure about. Hopefully I will one day get this procedure not because I care what others think but because I don’t want to feel this hatred towards myself.

    Thank you so much for posting this. I am in a very similar situation, although both my breasts are tubular, there is at least a two cup size difference. In my years of going through puberty and as a teenager, there was basically nothing I could find online of people in similar circumstances, and I know seeing this would’ve meant so much to me back then, as it still does now. When I’m writing this, I have my first surgery (breast lift) in two days, and I’m so excited. While it’s going to take two operations before things are even, I can’t wait to be able to wear all the tops and bikinis I never have before, and like you said, feel like a sexy woman for the first time in my life. Because of the deformity and large size disparity between my breasts, I was actually able to get my surgeries covered by insurance, so for anyone in a similar circumstance thinking about surgery, I urge you to at least check out your insurance policies, because you might able to get coverage.

    Also I know this video was posted 2 years ago but there is a reason why tuberous breasts develop it is due to a shortened and constricted chest muscle. The chest muscle needs to be cut for the breast to release. Now it is a simpler fix and you may not need breast implants to fix the deformity (if your breasts are not uneven, if they are, the bigger breast may need to be augmented to help with evenness). Look up more with MD Barrett

    Thank you for sharing your story! I’m so happy for you and this new chapter! I struggle with the same deformity. I’m smaller chested though. My left breast is my “good” boob it’s a small B and my right boob is an A cup. I’m 28 years old about to be 29 in June and I’ve been so insecure in my body all through my teenage years through my twenties. I am a mother of three and I can say my breast did their job and I was able to breastfeed all three of my babies over 12 months each. It was probably difficult than most because of the deformity but I did it thank God! Fast forward I’ve finally saved up the money and I’m doing my research on tubular breast reconstruction with implants and well I’m reaching out because my question to you is did your surgeon have enough breast tissue to comfortably placed implants in the breast pocket? It was he/she concerned that the tissue in your troubled breast wasn’t big enough to place an implant in? The surgeon I spoke with looked at my A cup tubular breast and questioned if a size D implant would fit. Also, how is the healing process? Was the incision around the areola? Do you have feeling still? Thank you again. Congratulations!

I´ve been hiding it the same way as all the other girls', whos stories I´ve read but thankfully I found out from quite an early age that it´s something that can be fixed so I started saving up for the surgery already when I was 15... I do this fun thing called ignoring my problems and honestly, it has been working out great so I haven't really let it affect my mental health but I´m glad that starting tomorrow I can slowly start forgetting all about it and living my life to the fullest.

    I’m so glad you were able to feel more confident. Unfortunately I’m susceptible to the risks of surgery, let alone not being able to afford it.
    Do you have any supportive groups/videos for LIVING with TBD without surgery. As much as I love seeing people with their newfound confidence, it’s hard being only shown surgeries when trying to find support & confidence embracing this deformity!
    Sending love 🥰💖

      I totally understand, and I wish I had resources to provide you with, however I don’t know of anyone 😔 I know it’s really scary but maybe you could start your own support group & add your voice to the community. I’m sure there are a lot of people like yourself that are in the same situation, who feel the same way. Just remember you are brave and beautiful no matter what ❤️❤️

    i too have TBD both sides and dint realize this is a deformity untill i googled recently a couple of years ago, untill then struggled to get fitting bras, never got a perfect padded bra, and tried to do some exercsies etc but nothing helped,
    but anyways my only concern is just to find correct fitting bra and padded ones if am lucky, and not plannning to ever get it fixed as am already in mid 30s and why to fix something for someone else.

    I also had tubular breast.
    Did u experience the shooting pain in your nipples ? Mine is just the right side but I never heard anyone talk it and the pain is at times unbearable! I'm happy with my results but this has been my only bother.

    Thank you so much for sharing your story❤️ I noticed that my breast at the age of 18 my breast were droopy, was symmetrical and not perfectly normal. At first I thought maybe it would grow more as I get older but I have noticed now that my breast are not growing. I am now 21 and every time I wear a bra , there is so much extra space on the top and I get really annoyed😒I do not feel insecure I always love my body but the fact I am a double D in bras and the extra space I can’t just do it anymore😩. I’m not sure how the procedures are and what not about how to get them done but just a cup to make them round would be perfect!

    I'm wondering.. if all us girls who have tubular breast were harassed sexually during development, an that that may have stunted the growth? Sometimes I feel or think it is as if my body tried to protect itself by not producing enough estrogen.

    • @Ohnoitsruthio
      @Ohnoitsruthio 2 года назад +3

      I have a similar idea, pieced together from anecdotal evidence mainly. I’ve been reading The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel Van Der Kolk and he says that many women who go through childhood sexual abuse go into puberty earlier. And I heard on a podcast by a gynaecologist that early puberty may be a factor in tuberous breast (stunted growth, like you said) because certain female hormones are not being produced at that age. It’s interesting, isn’t it! I was abused as well and got my period at 12.

    Are tubular breast breast cancer ?

    • @butterfly8435
      @butterfly8435 2 года назад +3

      No. Actually they lack tissue in the breasts, and have more tissue around the nipple. Because of the dense tissue, people with tubular breasts have a decreased chance of forming breast cancer.
