    Your channel is the best when it comes to processing interactions with toxic exes. Sometimes, because I enjoy speculation and telling stories to myself, I will go down the "what if" rabbit hole trying to recreate different outcomes of past experiences. Some might say that's unhealthy, but I don't think so because this is my brain and my character trying to continuously improve myself. If I had been 100% perfect all the time in every scenario, would things have worked out with the ex? Maybe, but at what cost to myself, or others I love, like my kids? These are the questions I need answered. If unanswered or not even considered, then I will never be able to see and analyze the full impact of my decisions that involve everyone in my life. Looking back, even after all the "what ifs", I see I made the right decision.

    As always, great advice. "What ifs" do not work at the casino or in life. We were dealt a set of cards, we played our hand and we lost. But we lost because we were deceived and cheated and our expectations were not met. By the way, you look great. I also want to thank you for the work you do. Your videos often provide me with timely wisdom and healing for my soul, and by reading the comments, I see that you also have a tremendous positive impact on many lives who are suffering the damage of selfish people. I wish you kids see what I see in you to make them proud. Happy Holidays!

    Man this is so triggering to hear. I've been discarded almost 2 years now, she and i share 2 kids together. I had my what ifs and i still ruminate sometimes of the life we could have had. I have also had a come to reality moment where i said to myself "this isn't what i wanted out of a relationship." Its hard for men who went through the ordeal of being with a person who has NPD. Life isn't the same and you can't go back to the person you were, because you are much older, structured and reserved. Not to mention how lonely it is now.

      Sorry about that man I wasn't wanting this topic to trigger you - hopefully it was helpful? I completely understand what you're saying - it's so tough and once the blinders have been ripped off you really can't go back and view the world the way you once did. There was a time were I missed my naiveté but at the same time I recognize how that didn't ultimately help me in life - it juste me up. On the lonely thing I understand what you're sa

    @DSD Dwayne Did you have narcissistic family members in your extended family such as narcissistic grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins? which of those did you have experience?

    • @DSD
      @DSD  8 месяцев назад

      Hmm, I didn't have a lot of interaction with my extended family - my main interaction with narcissists was with/from my mom.
