It was in the 70's during the day. Gown in the 50's at night. It is to get hot again. Here in PA. I was the only one home this week. So supper was leftovers and TV dinners
@@LoriFidler-v9b yes!!! It’s been really nice here this past week and I have had the windows open with the ac off. But from my understanding is that the temps are supposed to go back up this week. Nice easy week of dinners and it helps to coat out the freezer!!!
That can of veg-all I saw in your pantry haul this week - I'd turn that into a quiche. If I've got an onion, I saute that, then put that in a pie plate (pie crust optional), add the can of veggies, add eggs/milk/spices, add cheese if you've got it. Bake until it's done. Yum.
@@janicerhoades8851 absolutely!!! It really is good and very versatile in you can use it for tacos, casseroles, enchiladas, even pasta dishes. Thank you
I received some of the taco mix and made a taco pasta bakewth chopped tomatoes, corn and a little bit of tomato sauce. I put cheddarcheese over it and baked😋😍
@@LoriFidler-v9b ohh very nice. You have to let me know how that one is!!! Fingers crossed that it is a good one and that you get lots of useful items.
I’ve made let’s see tonight is fast meal hot dogs, coleslaw, home fries, Thursday was chicken tenders homemade, and home fries, Wednesday was roast, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans and biscuits then Tuesday was salmon patties I think lol that’s as far back as I can remember having some hot cocoa and watching you now with banana nut muffins in oven! ❤ loving the cooler weather, how about you friend? You made my night posting this video, I was down missing my girl😢 my little doggie Sassy, but speaking of light bill ours went from 160 last month to 280 this month 🙄😞 thanks Duke energy lol 😂
@@jennifermunn6898 nice meals. I always seem to start out the week with really good meals and by the end of the week they are just simple thrown together meals. Lol… I am so happy to put a smile on your face my friend. The weather has been amazing!!! Windows open and ac off!!! I do the program through Duke where my bill is the same every month but once a year they calculate to see if you’ve used more or less than you’ve paid for and let’s just say…. We apparently used way more than we paid for. But no worries.. I was able to get them to split that massive amount amongst the next six payments.
@@MamaToAll_Homestead I tell you now Duke energy is too expensive! In winter my bill runs 120 but summer with the ac it’s 270 to 300 crazy! But then again I am just thankful for power lol 😂
Like you, lots of thrown together leftovers. Last night, was days of leftover meatloaf made into spaghetti and there was a little still left for today. We usually have corn tortillas with leftovers on them for breakfast. This morning was cheddar with a little bit of leftover spaghetti sauce on the tortillas. For dinner, I fried some corn tortillas for nacho chips, used the last bit of the meatloaf with taco seasoning, lettuce, tomatoes and made some queso so pretty good nachos. Breakfast in the morning will be homemade yogurt with maybe peanut butter and then lay out something from the freezer with an older date to thaw out for dinner. Maybe chicken to use up the little bit of spaghetti sauce or chicken and gravy over biscuits I made a few days ago. I jarred up some dehydrated carrots today.
@@bettyir4302 very nice!!!! I agree that we have to use every bit. Can’t afford to waste anything with the way times are. I love repurposing leftovers into new meals.
Everything looked good. Have you made the TikTok chicken with the biscuit topping? I was surprised but we really liked it and I had all the ingredients by using canned chicken.
This week has been a little colder. about 20 C. but with rain and wind. Lives in Norway. The dinners have been. M: Leftovers from Sunday oven-roasted potatoes, carrots, onions and peppers. Grilled venison. T: Breaded cod, salad, cucumber and french fries. O: pasta and meat sauce. T: Wiener sausages with bread, tomato, cucumber, salad and onion. F: Taco salad, with some tortilla chips. L: Salmon, boiled potato and cucumber salad. Sunday: Steak, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, onions and peppers. We eat out of the freezer. And there is a lot of tomato, cucumber, onion, potato and chili to pick up in the kitchen garden now.
Keep on doing what you are doing to God be the glory
