I have four Yoyofactory Will (version 2) designed by SUS Mechanics considered the best designed firm in Japan. I can say this reading from the Rewind stores description and opinion. The Will is considered the best designed yoyo from SUS Mechanics to date even with the firm designing for other brands. The Klondike is also designed by SUS Mechanics. The Will, Klondike and Papercut all look very close. Japanese designed yo-yos are highly regarded as the best performers in the right hands. Im positive there is a trend to copy certain shape yo-yos that are high praised for their technical performance features. Yoyofriends is the in-house brand of FPM manufacturing of China makes some of the best performing yo-yos out of 7068 to date. The Papercut is actually a budget friendly designed uses 6061 which is not to be considered a premium design with 7068. I asked Philip the team manager of Yoyofriends to answer this question. The Papercut was easier to produce in 6061 was more cost effective.
That made me cry on the inside to see you hacksaw them in half, the upside you have made my Papercut one yoyo rarer. Very interesting video, and now I guess I have an excuse to buy the Klondike after all. Maybe.

Yes. I remember totally changing the cup design myself to avoid being soo similar to coglite. After talking to Colin Beckford.

papercut is a mass produced budget yoyo, i wouldn't worry about its rarity. klondike is solid player if you like the sizing and shape for sure.
