I just vaguely guess that the main viewers of your video who are Korean would not really need Korean subtitles (yet). If more viewers occur from Korea, then you should seriously consider adding it, or you may get more viewers from Korea by adding subtitles. But if you are only willing to interact with existing subscribers, I dont think its necessary.

I started watching without thinking something special and ended up with so much thinking... As a perfectionist but also an adventurer(or generalist), I find myself so unmatchable with my 'ideal me'. I've wanted to learn it for years I'm trying duolingo but I want to find a native speaker to teach me
Kennie I feel you so hard, it sucks being both a perfectionist and a language learner. I’m the same with Chinese, and a lot of times I feel like I’ve come to a plateau and have no way to keep improving. But one thing that I did that really helped me was telling my friends to force me to speak Chinese with them. I was petrified at first because I’m not used to being wrong or doing poorly (lol I sound so snobby), but after the first couple of times it was so much easier. Something I learned when I went to Taiwan for the first time was that a lot of times, you have to throw yourself in the deep end and just learn how to swim. Don’t feel discouraged! Fluency is such an ambiguous concept. Some people would consider me fluent in Chinese but I would never, EVER say that because I’m always learning new things. You never really stop learning a language. I wish you the best, and I want you to know that I TOTALLY FEEL THAT. It’s uncomfortable to speak when you know for a fact that you don’t know everything, but just look back at how far you’ve come. You have to force yourself to take the leap, and then things are going to be so much easier. Good luck!!! I love you so much ❤️❤️❤️

So you're not the one who puts your video titles in Korean!?! I live in Korea and usually when there's a recommended video on the side of yours it says like "친구 이야기: Karen" "Glossier에서 $450 사용해본 후기... 탕진해버렸다" "한국 커플이 싸우는 이야기" like this. But strangely it's only for videos from you and like Edward Avila!?? Other suggested videos like James Charles arent translatef Lol I don't use an automatic translator so I think RUclips has some one that translates it. So strange
it's the same for me just with german, since i live in Austria, the titles of some youtubers change to german. Don't have a automatic translator either so i guess it's youtube that translates the titles depending on the location. Which can get pretty confusing sometimes.
Still ridiculous to go off on someone for something so trivial that isn't even their fault.
Wow that is so interesting, I'd love to know how they decide to/to not translate things - I moved to Switzerland from the US and my youtube has never translated anything. I wonder if I switched to my Swiss gmail if it would? But it's NEVER translated Korean titles into English for me!!

Well I’m from America and only lived in America but sometimes it can be a Korean video and the video title is translated from Korean to English (sometimes the videos has English subs) but if I’m watching the video in landscape mode on mobile the title switches back to Korean. Hopefully that makes sense lol 😂

I always find it interesting the tone switch when it comes to people who switch languages. Like it's such a drastic change, it's cool. I find it cute when you speak Korean you get all quieter and slightly softer in how you talk. Either way is cute though 💜

I connected with you when you started talking about the self-discipline. I’m the exact same way. One thing I found interesting is that Ive never considered myself a perfectionist, but I have the same way of thinking as you do. If I don’t get it the first time I feel like a failure, or like I’m just not good enough. That just leaves me with the fear to start/try new things. Tbh idk how to fix that, but it is one of my goals for the new year. I’ve started working on it by taking the jump and applying to study abroad in South Korea for fall of senior year. Duuuuuude the whole part about being a perfectionist whose not good at anything and that if you’re not immediately good at something you give up. That hit me hard. I’m exactly the same and it’s so frustrating because everything I’ve wanted to do in life is artsy: interior design, photography, makeup, etc. but I am not good at any of it and it makes me insecure to practice and try because I don’t want to fail. And I’m not a confident person, I’m the complete opposite (self deprecating) so I miss out on opportunities because I turn them down when I don’t think I’ll be good at it. Because of this I’ve done nothing with my life, I dropped out of college, and I’m just miserable honestly.

I’m glad someone understands my struggle with foundation and perfection. I use you as a shade reference because I’m that somewhat weird color with the neutral shade it’s just hard. And I will move or do something until it’s perfect and if it’s not it bugs me in my mind all day and won’t stop. I started French and Spanish and would like to learn Arabic if I can actually learn French and Spanish fluently. It’s going to take a lot of work and dedication

I was so happy when you mentioned how at first learning a language is easy but the more you study the more alot of words sound similar or mean the same thing. I'm struggling with that myself at the moment within learning korean,the more i seem to study the more all the words sound the same to me. I felt alone in that watching other non korean korean speaking youtubers and now i know i'm not the only one with that struggle!
