    Buggy looks great. It's a shame it doesn't really perform as good as it could. Just seems to be a little hectic, with a lot of spare parts and stuff that is above and beyond what you ever need then on the other hand no fluids!? My Schumacher Cat K2 was a great build, top quality everything except, the minuscule amount of fluids. I contacted Schumacher and they were happy for the feedback. They are going to review the amount of fluids and quality control of that aspect of their kits. My kit only had enough diff fluid for one half of a diff. The thread lock was empty. But as I said great customer feedback and positive attitude towards my issues. Here's hoping that Team Durango hear what you have identified and address the feedback with a positive and can do attitude just like I experienced with Schumacher. But I almost get the feeling that Team Durango rushed this one out.
    Great review Rich.

    i got a chance to pit my B5M up againts one of these while doing some practice laps at my track. the durango was pretty fast, and the parts quality looked pretty good. even after bumping into eachother and landing a few jumps wrong, both cars didnt break anything (which is saying alot for a 4wd buggy). its a shame that the parts support isnt better though

    Hey Rich, what I have come to realize about the wing mount is that the kit mount seemed pretty week, but after I broke and replaced that one I haven't had any issues with the spare one that I got

    hey rich big fan of your channel for along time i been subscribed to your channel before u were up to 500 subs lol all the content and videos u put out are awesome and you usually are on point in what your talking about... One thing i would like to see done differently is put a little more run time and abuse on these vehicles before u do your reviews... That car still looks brand new and i be suprised if it has more than 8-10 packs through it... To actually know how durable and to know the potential of the car u need at least 20-25 packs.. then u actually see how durable there really are and how good they can really be.... i think this would give your viewers a more accurate and more honest opinion on these reviews and if it s worth shelling out the cash for these expensive race rigs.... a couple battery packs threw a vehicle doesnt really tell to much about it in the long run...not bashing u in any way rich.. i love ur channel and think u do an awesome job.. just my 2 cents

    Best rc buggy i ever had, its like a flying tank. Nearly unbreaksble, thats why Team Durango nearly did not sale spare Party and ran out of money

      It was a great buggy...a bit too much chassis flex from what I remember, I kept losing the center driveshaft

    Hey Rich,
    Nice review & thanks for sharing... I was adamant that this was the buggy for me, but now I'm not so sure... I always put durability at the top of my list & after seeing your review, am just not convinced. Looks like it's a 22-4 2.0... 😉

      Ordered a 2.0 myself but I must say this buggy seems very versatile, and after racing for a while if anything breaks it's usually the same thing time after time. So just stock up there.
      Thing with the 22-4 it's fast but still has a weak looking front end (phend broke arms at the reedy race) and belts haven't gotten thicker with those new diffs ppl may now want to abuse with hp. if looking for a solid car the Durango and Xray brands are to ones to sleep on.

      +JAMMIN RC Thanks for the advise man, appreciate it! TLR seems to be my default M.O. Had really great luck with the 22 platform. I've never had such difficulty choosing my next ride - all really great buggies & all with very different pros/cons... 😣

      Just made the move from a 22-4 to a V5 only stripped many plastic servo horns but they were from a verity of kits just needs to be alloy. But I run boosted 5-6 turn modified and the Losi would eat rear diffs all the time and I would end up calling it a day because of the hassle of replacing it with the insane way the belts are enclosed you need to strip half the car to get to them. The Durango is a pleasure to work on I can change diff oil in between rounds and durability wise the only issues I've had are inconveniently placed tyres on the apex of high speed corners stripping the servo horns on impact. I've had a few of good high speed 50 meter plus cartwheels and drove away without breakages so they are tough. They handle well too center diff makes them very easy to push without much drama.

    great review Rich. wonder why they left the center diff, high like that?

  • @trippyhippy12
    @trippyhippy12 8 лет назад

    Any ideas on the size for the servo horn? I've stripped 6 plastic ones now and had 3 different "short" alloy ones that hit the center shaft I've had suggestions from TD facebook page but none list the length and none were available in the UK.

    Hi Rich Can you please tell me if you have any issue with your aluminium servo saver shaft and servo saver nut where there is a spring in between, my servo saver nut does not screw onto the servo saver shaft where there is a spring in between ,the nut was bigger than the shaft please reply thank you in advance.

      I still have this buggy, although it drives great, there's a bit of unwanted chassis flex and the wingmount was a bummer (The new plastic one seemed to be better) Other than that, it does drive great

      I found a cheap new 410r v3 Im going to buy as my next car. I like that better than this newer version, love the narrow rear end. I have a durango dex410r I bought used cheap, but nearly all plastic threads are stripped. BUT it can be a parts car. I also think it drives like no other car, it was a handfull the first time. I dont even race, but I love the on power steering. I can drive the car around turns instead of slowing down completely and turning and pull out of the turn. Very fun to drive, and I love building new kits=)
