@@ee6681 Not necessarily, there's a study on this a few years back that says many of those inside feel that if tested at anagy given point with the same questions, they won't pass. You need to prepare for a while because the interview itself if planned to recude the number of accepted people as much as possible, and detract false positives. That's why it's so tricky.
Google: You’re rowing down a river at 2mph Kevin when all of a sudden your canoe loses a wheel. How much pancake mix do you need to recalculate the length of the hypotenuse? Me: The limit does not exist.
It’s funny seeing these young guys answer these questions being a 27 year old tradesman. Most of these questions are easily answered with life experience. I don’t pretend to code so I don’t think I could ever work at google but these questions seemed very easy to answer. Edit : I’m not old but seeing these guys I feel old 😂
For the database : You could say group your toys according to its kind. Place them in a box separately. If you need some toy, open the box according to the kind of toy you need and search it easily.
Not all manhole covers are round even some are square shaped grill that takes in the rainwater. Theres one of these at the street outside my apartment.
I was actually asked the manhole cover question in an interview for a smaller tech company 😂😂 Now it makes sense why he asked which RUclips accounts I follow…
Most traditional blender blades are detachable so you can attach a different blade. So within the 60 secs just try to push of the blade upwards till it falls to the side.
For the database question, just say a database is like Google. You search a specific thing and it shows what information has that name. Google would like that.
Wait a second…the blender and manhole cover questions were apart of the same Brian teaser I gave to my students…are these really Google interview questions??!!! Seems unlikely
If you reduced a car to the size of an atom, the car would have the same mass. If you reduce a human to the size of a nickel and put him in a blender. You could run into the blender walla and tip it over. That would be my approach from a physics perspective.
My answer on the clock question would be 0 degrees. If the minute hand and hour and are in the same place, as they are at 3:15, wouldn't there be no angle? Therefore 0 degrees? I know nothing about math/physical engineering so I could be off base here
you would need to include the fact that the hour hand is continuously moving. it does not snap from 2 to 3 to 4. from 3 to 3:15 it would have advances 1/4 the way to 4 oclock marker. as the clock contains 12 equivalent spaced number markers, and a circle has 360 degrees, it has 30 degrees between each number. so if it moved 1/4 the way to 4, it would be 30/4 which would be 7.5 degrees.
The blender question is inspired by ben 10 series the interviewer must be a anime fan and then i will do is only ask when is the bleach next season is comming and now i am in..😎😎😁
I would consider the size of the window and the socioeconomic status of the person. Like, who would charge the average price for a window belonging to Jeff Bezos?
Similar and harder questions have been asked @ SWE Interviews in India for entry level salaries as low as 200 USD / month. That too, even before the coding rounds. Trust me, I've been to 35-40 Interviews.
The ultimate google interview: How many google engineers could pass all google interview questions?
But do all of them have nephews that now understand databases?

And after 7 months kevin actually cracked the google interview lol.
Exactly 😂

😂😂😂😂
There are 8 apples, 10 mangoes, 14 people who are software engineer. Find the Volume of Sun.
I studied these questions hard for 2 weeks and got hired! Thanks Nick!
Nick : What is a manhole?
Kevin : It's a good stuff
Yeah it's hard, womanhole is easily to understand.
The poor people who got that blender question lol. really like these collabs!
clement was also part of the video through his " do you know what the scariest thing in the interview is ... "
Google, you know where to find me if you wanna talk
inside blender right?

Now technically a window can never be completely clean. It can only be washed but will never forget nor forgive.
4:20 Answer is 7.5°. Minute hand points at 3. Hour hand is 1/4 of the way from 3 to 4. Hence, 360°/12/4=7.5°.

I just got into google after answering 69$ per window, thanks nick very cool
Actually coding is hard we will do it because we like it

the last one is from the movie - The Internship
Really nice one! :) Clock, empty glass questions were sitters. Easy to crack ones I beleive
13 has got to be the easiest question ever lol
For the database question, just say a database is like Google. You search a specific thing and it shows what information has that name. Google would like that.
Angle between hour hand and minute hand = 30H-11/2M
these questions are actually makes people to think in creative way to develop them self.
it's like a magic trick but with out a bunny.
I taught at a school and asked for a brain teaser “why are manhole covers round” so I know the answer already the only one I got right basically 😂
1:40 *VISIBLE DISAPPOINTMENT*

The most important part is how to reach till that round??? How can I apply to Google?

4:06 "i would say it's like the shelf where mommy gets her magic pills" = database
I swear the blender question was the same one as the one they were asked in the internship (the film)!
I was succeeded with the question of the 28 days. May I reclaim a position in Google, at least as the cleaner guy?
The blender question is inspired by ben 10 series the interviewer must be a anime fan and then i will do is only ask when is the bleach next season is comming and now i am in..😎😎😁
I read the title the same way you would say "Could you pass the butter?"
> damn dude you're actually smart
I would consider the size of the window and the socioeconomic status of the person. Like, who would charge the average price for a window belonging to Jeff Bezos?
draco malfoy talks about golf balls
love your videos man!! xD
Do more of these
Are these questions generally asked or it is for fun
I don't think there is any reason to put Google employees on such a pedestal. You are overrating them. (I work there)
Were these really IT questions or just google interview questions in general
I guess it's to test your creativity
I've never been asked that at google, i think they didn't planned to hire me, lol.
PS: the questions are pretty easy tho'
What do you mean all of them have 28 days?
every month has at least 28 days
@@NickWhite ahh right yeah I feel like without the "at least" it's hard to guess but makes sense. Thanks for the video it was pretty fun !
why would they make you lie when you guys obviously have lvl 900 IQ??
They don't ask these stupid questions anymore
nick one more video for ur subs plzzzzz
The answer to the blender question is WUMBO
Wouldn’t the angle between the minute hand and hour hand of time 3:15 be zero degrees.
12 hours on a 360 degree clock = 30 degrees between the hours
If you are 15 mins past an hour, you are 1/4 of 30 degrees = 7.5 degrees
I think 0 degrees coz both are at the same position man if you're on 3:15
I'm never getting into Google 🤦🏻🤦🏻

hahaha this was gold man, hilarious
No
lol anyone would pass if these were the actual questions
Very fun video
That was awsome 😁
These are the absolute dumbest questions to ask anyone lmao
Have you guys seriously never seen an analog clock before? XD
3 15 = 0 degrees!!!
no the hour hand will move 1/4 of the way to the 4
Add sub title
69 Dollars 💵 Yeah we know Why 🤣🤣
That was funny
Lol dude ur hilarious
Good job posting this on Election Night. TRUMP WILL WIN!
Why do you call yourself socialist monkey if you want trump to win lmao? Or maybe you call socialists monkeys?
