LYRICS:
It starts with one
All I know
It's so unreal
Watch you go
I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
I had to fall to lose it all
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
One thing, I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To remind myself of a time when I tried so hard
In spite of the way you were mockin' me
Actin' like I was part of your property
Remembering all the times you fought with me
I'm surprised it got so far
Things aren't the way they were before
You wouldn't even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me in the end
You kept everything inside
And even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually
Be a memory of a time when I
One thing, I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme to explain in due time
All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away
It's so unreal
You didn't look out below
Watch the time go right out the window
Tryin' to hold on, they didn't even know
I wasted it all just to watch you go
I kept everything inside
BROOKLYN DUO BIO:
Founded in 2014, Brooklyn Duo has quickly established itself as one of today’s most successful classical crossover ensembles. Through its creative arrangements and live video performances, the piano and cello duo has garnered a huge following, with over 1.2 million RUclips subscribers and over 150 million streams annually on platforms such as Spotify and Pandora Radio. Their music has been used in numerous television shows, including Grey's Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, America's Got Talent, and most recently during the 2020 Democratic National Convention.
Members Marnie and Patrick Laird met while students at the same chamber music festival and were married in 2012. Both worked as professional musicians after graduating from the Eastman and Juilliard schools of music, respectively; Patrick as a founding member of popular cello rock band, Break of Reality, and Marnie as principal pianist of the New World Symphony. In 2014, on a whim, the couple recorded two covers and released them on RUclips. They were thrilled when Shakira herself took notice of their cover and tweeted about it. The boost from that exposure and the positive response they were getting on RUclips encouraged them to continue creating videos.
Today, Marnie and Patrick have released over 100 videos on their Brooklyn Duo RUclips channel and 10 albums of covers, spanning artists from The Beatles to Metallica to Ariana Grande. They also have a second RUclips channel, "Brooklyn Classical", which aims to introduce classical music to a larger audience through high quality, live video performances.
Popular classical music stations Classic FM and WQXR regularly share Brooklyn Duo’s music on their social media pages, with Classic FM calling the duo “masters of the artfully planned pop cover.”

Sibelius? 😏
Amazing, almost crying. Linkin Park should ser this!!
2:54 "Chills. Literal chills" - Jake Peralta
😂
2:54 did NOT expect that! That and 3:39 both emulated distorted guitar and feedback SO WELL! Great ear and attention to detail.
Trying not to cry... This version is wonderful! You are all great musicians, keep up the amazing work
Absolutely stunning! Chester Bennington is smiling from up above. Bravo! 🤗❤🙌🎹🎻💯💥
Wow where have I been . I had no idea .
Depression gets about
@@andybattersby4773 🙏🤗❤️
i absolutely know that Chester would love to sing being backed by such a quartet!
we, musicians, know this for sure... R.I.P. Charles!
Never noticed the Sibelius quotation until playing your discography for my baby this week. Very nice.
As a metal head who uses music as a drug for my depression, this is absolutely beautiful!
I asked a few friends for instrumental music that I could listen to during my 40 min walking workout,, I like to not focus on lyrics while I am pounding it out,,, this was one that I played yesterday,,, it brought tears to my eyes and forced me to consider repenting for every sin I have ever committed,,, and then I watched the performance and tears again,,, thank you Brooklyn Duo,,, you have gained a follower. If you ever preform in Wisconsin I will be there up close. Peace, Mark Anthony Maglior
RIP Chester, I can still hear your voice all over this Masterpiece. I miss you brother.

I was amazed by the arrangement in which Sibelius' Violin Concerto No. 1 is incorporated into the middle of the piece. It was fantastic!

Thanks for sharing your talent. It brings joy to my day.
American Dad brought me here. Though the violins were only for a couple of seconds in the episode itself I absolutely had to know if anyone actually tried to do a cover with Violins. I was not disappointed. Wonderful composition all round.
Beautiful! RIP Chester.
This gave me chills! So amazing you all!!
Me alegro de suscribirme a este canal.
Heaven 🦋
Chills!!!
Frikkin Sibelius!!❤️❤️❤️
Phenomenal.
Thank you for bringing classical to the forefront. It doesn't get any better than going to YT and finding a stellar performance such as this one. Our minds need a break from everything that we have collectively gone through in the last year and a half. You have helped all of us find that slim sliver of hope for a world at war.
It’s a good arrangement and sounds terrific, but music played on classical instruments ≠ classical music.
Thank You So Much

Это волшебно... Душа улетает в небо... Спасибо вам!!!
I love Brooklyn Duo and their work I am sad that I misses the premiere because I was in school hopefully next time
This was very good. RIP Chester
Wow. Fantastic version of this classic song. Thank you for sharing your talent.
congratulations very very good, Linkin Park in vein
Great arrangment! I have to say the cello slide @ 4:09 is awesome!!! 😳
Oh my goodness the emotion in this made me tear up a lot. So so good. 😍
Excellent version played to perfection !!! Bravo !!! Wow !!!
Wow. Great you guys for making beautiful arrangement for this iconic Linkin Park's song, it's so painfullly powerful. And I also notice that theme from Sibelius' violin concerto playing on the first violin. Superb 😎🙌🙌
True artistic lyrical prose and music crosses and transcends every musical voice, instrument and genré. You touched me deeply. The pain in Chester’s voice as the songs crescendos towards ‘in the end’ breakage of trust and raw human pain. Linkin Park are classic unlike almost any other. You open them to millions who are hearing this for the first time. Thank you, thank you, thank you. To quote Chester, “I put my trust in you” and you did him and the rest of the band, producers etc etc extremely proud! I came upon this company coincidence, was watching Charlotte Tilbury’s Christmas 2021 makeup releases and ‘ mistakenly’ ended up on this page. Ha ha, two things l do not believe it, coincidence and by mistakenly. All is preordained and God led me here during a week l have been agonizingly missing Chester and Chris. I know who led me here. God bless you all you brilliant artists! Jayne💜🙏🏻🙂🙏🏻💜
Wow, that was awesome.
The power of music - absolutely amazingly done.

this is one of my favorite songs of all time, and this piano part was the key to be the beloved one -- thanks for the tribute!
R.I.P. Chester Charles Bennington (1976-2017)
okay, sorry, couldn't resist: 02:14 -- just listen to it and you'll get it!... omg, so sad, this music worth a thousand words!
If Chester was alive, he would be speechless. This is perfection.
И очень жаль что его нет, он был бы рад что его творчество ценят и любят, и что он совершил ошибку оставив своих фанатов, эххх Честер, Честер
Truly amazing performance.
Simplesmente, amo o trabalho de vocês! 🇧🇷👏🏻🥰
Wow! Beautiful version, and it's very impressive as the first violin incorporates a passage from Sibelius' violin concerto! Compliments!
