I also had the pleasure of meeting her when she was touring for the album Skin On Skin. We saw her through the window of her tour bus, a couple of friends of mine and I at a fuel station where her bus was refueling. When we waved at her and I patted my heart and blew her a kiss, she came out of the bus to give us a hug and talk to us. She was one of the sweetest people ever and she was funny and real. And she wasn't wearing a stitch of makeup and she was still breathtakingly beautiful. I'm glad that she found some happiness in her life with her ministry, she earned it and she deserved it. 🫶

Even though she was a born-again Christian and had been drug-free for years, her troubled past from drug abuse finally caught up with her, with her dying from kidney failure as a result of a near overdose she had years ago. She was a very very beautiful woman and talented and she will be missed. 2016 is off to a tragic start with us already losing two popular celebrities (David Bowie and Vanity). So sad.
