Thank you for this update . Really sad news since *Gothic* for me is the most impressive game I ever played. I also loved Gothic II , and Gothic III , but really , playing *Gothic I* was for me an unmatched feeling ,everything in this first game was almost perfect !! Well , I guess every beginning has an end as well…
Thank you for your feedback! Yes, it's going to be a sad day when they announce that the studio is actually gone but who knows, I still have a tiny bit of hope left.
Hopefully some news soon. Playing Elex 2 after finishing 1 in January, and I can say that it’s just as good, and better in some ways, than the original. I’m really grateful actually that we got a sequel given how cult their games are… I hope PB at least throws out a crowdfunding option if any potential deals to save them don’t materialise. I’m sure many would be happy to support and it might send a message to publishers
Yeah, tbh it gives me hope that apparently they haven't been shut down yet, at least there's been no further news. So that makes me think that something is going on behind the scenes, fingers crossed!
@@binnocorp No worries! I mostly play other RPGs like the Elder Scrolls games, but also dabbled in Survival and Souls-Likes. I'm currently working on a review for Fable that I hope will be up at some point :D
I really tried so hard to like Elex, and I bought the second game just to support them -- but never even installed it. However, I guess it's all for naught. No news surely can't mean good news. Commercially speaking, the basic knowledge that something profitable is in the oven, some kind of announcement, would be in the open almost instantly. It's bad news that are often reluctant to be drip-fed to the general public. So, with heavy heart -- by now -- I go with the assumption that PB is really dead. They tried, but ... have left the building.
fair enough, I don't think Elex is for everyone! I eventually got into it but it took me some time and Elex II was a bit disappointing. I'm kind of thinking that maybe if the company still exists they are negotiating something in the background, otherwise the studio may have been shut down already. As of right now it still exists, although I don't know in what form.
From what I read in the WOG forums, though mostly between the lines, is that the house they were all situated in, isn't being used as a workplace anymore. Like, it used to be so that you could them taking coffee breaks outside and what not. And that all doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
@@Jammet Interesting, I hadn't read that yet. I did know that they probably weren't working on anything anymore at the moment, though, and as long as the company officially still exits I'll naively remain hopeful :D
Gothic 1-2-3 were some of the best and most fun RPG experiences ive ever had... I wish them luck!
Agreed, me too!

Thanks for replying! What other games beyond PB do you enjoy?
