I dont think its rude at all to look up an item in front of the customer at all its just 2 people doing business with each other. Americans have lost any sense of barter due to being brainwashed by big corporations with set prices. what you are doing is the best form of business your protecting yourself from over paying on a product its not your fault if the seller neglected to do their research. so good on you 👍

You don't get a 1099 now apparently they tax you on your item as you're selling it. I got a prompt today when I sold a pair of boots. It said don't worry we'll take it off so you don't got to worry about it. It's pathetic. I'm selling a clothing item and in my state clothing isn't taxed. So now I get taxed for selling my shoes on a platform. @@martin_wilson81
I used to use eBay but dealing with the people or rather possible fraudulent people is terrible. I sold a gold ring and then the lady swore it was not gold and said she couldn't see the marking. I sent the photo to ebay with the marking. Needless to say I had to eat some cost, shipping back, and such a headache. I listed and sold again and then was done with ebay forever. eBay is always on the buyers side no matter what.
You guys are so fair with your customers and getting that rep will help you build the business. We visit Florida every winter and maybe I'll find my way to Winter Haven next season.

Do you drive around and look or just hope you see one driving to the grocery store? These guys drive around searching for them not just see a sign bud.. They invest alot of time and fuel to get the good finds.. like anything nothing is easy you need to out in work not just stop at 1 or 2 garage sales when you drive past them..
The more gold and silver goes up the less they actually make believe it or not golden silver, especially for them I have very little markup for the money they put out my opinion. Is they pay too much for it when it comes in these people are really fair really good people.

I say, do whatever you feel comfortable with. You are honest and let them know you own a Pawn Shop, when asked. It isn't like you are hiding anything, you wear the TShirt from your shop, which identifies your shop name. Great video, as always.

The guy at the first garage sale was funny…tracked you down not once, but twice to eventually sell the games to you at your offer lol. It took him a minute to realize that it was a competitive offer and he would most likely do some work to sell those otherwise and may not have been worth it. Thanks for the video and take care!
