Hi, thanks for the video, very informative. My device maps the entire house but at the end just says that it is returning to the dock to charge and fails to save the map. So I am not able to understand why is it not saying “cleanup completed” and let me divide the house in zones. Can you please help if you the reason behind this? Thanks!

If the battery runs out at cleaning time, the robot returns to charge and after charging is completed it resumes cleaning.
You can try "vacuum along the edges" It will just clean along edges, and map the area.
Otherwise, check settings - does "Remember map" option is enabled"

When you put the mop box does it make vaccum or only mopping???
It makes vacuum and mopping. For only mopping, you need to purchase an additional container.

Hey do you know whether this model can map multiple floors? I've tried mapping a few times but it seems that the robot can not remember more than 1 floor :(
On new firmware, this model can map 3 floors in the Chinese version. You have to wait for a firmware update (let's hope that one day they will bring it to the global version). Personally, I think that a robot is needed for every floor - to make life easier.

Does the robot go systematically while mapping or just randomly all over?also he just went in to action and then half way through came out. How do I get him to map the full house going along the walls?
At first, the robot maps the area along the edges, then starts cleaning. After the map is created you can edit it to rooms. You can delete the map and start all over by choosing "vacuum along edges" in mi home app.

@@rohankuriyan8445 Looks like he's searching for a dock station, did you connected the dock station to the wall power? Take the robot near the dock station and push the home button, and wait till he returns to the station. Then start area mapping from scratch.
thank you I just bought mi robot mop 2 Pro but I received 2 mops shape "Y" not all 1 peace mop hop you got what I want to say I prefer the one you have as it will cover all not only the middle? and 1 more question after I install it I should charge it first for 6 hours or it will build the house map then it will connect to the charger?

Oh, I see, they changed that mop pad on the new vacuum model, actually, mine has 2 different mop pads. Maybe your is a better design, who knows :)

Oh, Qatar is so far away :) I'm from Lithuania. Unfortunately, you cannot use the old model mops on yours, as they changed construction :/

Hello Jocionis, great video! i wanted to ask you something. I used the same robot vaacum mop cleaner for 4 months. When i used it somewhere where the robot couldnt make internet connection it went offline. Now, i want to reinstall it but after i choose the wifi it does not say bring your device close. So i cannot connect. Do you know what i have to do? Thank you in advance!!
I think you need to reset your robot wifi: hold pressed those two top buttons at the same time for 3sec.
If that does not help do the factory reset: press and hold the home button.
Everything is written on the robot, you just need to lift the lid :)

Hi, i have the same Mi robot mop pro, but i cant connect to wi fi, at point 3 when charging say connecting to network time out, and i set wi fi to 2.4ghz how they say but the same issues, can help me?
Is your robot a global version or china? If china you need to change the "mi home" app region to the Chinese mainland. Bring it closer to the router, maybe there is a weak wifi signal.

@@MindaugasJocionis I have same issue and it did work for 7 weeks, not the wifi of the vacuum doesn’t want to reconnect! I bought it brand new from a trusted and very popular Electronics shop in Europe(Ro)
Tried absolutely everything, to the point I deleted the app and the vacuum and reinstalled from begging, when connecting to wifi it says “unsecured network and then with yellow “no internet connection “ but checking my 2.4 network, works amazing. We are also in a brand new home, router is new as well, we moved here in November 2021 so don’t get what’s the issue as it worked perfectly before. Can you please help or look into this issue as many have this problem with the pro version. Thank you 🙏🏼

Sveiki, Mindaugai, ačiū už video. Kaip tik nusipirkome šį siurblį ir noriu paklausti, ar pirmiausia turi siurbti įdėjus pirmąją talpą ir tik ,kai baigs siurbti, dėti kitą talpą, kad šlapiai plautų, ar galima iš karto su ta antrąja talpa, kad siurbtų ir plautų , t.y. ar būtina kaitalioti? Ačiū :)
Taip, galit det talpas kaip norit. Tik siurbimui, arba siurbimui ir plovimui iskar, kaitaliot nereikia. Taippat galit dasipirkt talpa tik plovimui.

Can you tell me please what is your current firmware version, and if yours only mop mode work?
For only mop mode, you need an additional only water container or remove the dust filter from the vacuum+mop container.
It's on 3.5.3_0017 firmware.

Hi, is this global version? Do you think with Chinese version i can have some extra problems? How did vacum working after various month of using it??

Maciau yra modifikuota mihome versija, galbut dabar isvis jau neprisijungia. Geriau pirkt globalia versija, bus maziau problemu.
Kelis menesius panaudojus veikia gerai, kartais ijungus slapia plovima neijungia vandens purskimo, reikia perkraut.

Deja taip ir nedadejo atnaujinimo su aukstais, kuri turi kinietiska versija. Galbut ateityje dades, nors firmware atnaujinimu nuo nusipirkimo nebuvo nei vieno. Na bet as asmeniskai manau nepatogu butu nesiot ji po aukstus, geriau butu turet po robota kiekvienam aukste :) Sub. Aciu :)

Tiesa gryzt poto negali, nes kinieciu firmveiras buna aukstesnes versijos. Kamera galima specialiu recovery metodu grazint i europietiska firmweira. Ar su siurbliu taspats, nezinau.
