I've been enjoying your adventures, and I wanted to offer some advice. I've been in the scene since the 90's, and I've given impact play to a variety of people. Among them were people like Hubby, who had been spanked and caned on their bottoms so much that they had developed tremendous tolerance to about any toy you could come up with; as a Top, I had to be aware of when the bottom had gone off into SubSpace, and further impact play was simply not going to do anything but injure them. With a partner like this, changing the target of the impact play can be very helpful in maintaining the intensity of sensation the bottom needs for proper correction. The upper back can be an excellent place for impact play, and while a skilled person can use a cane there, most often the area is best for the use of straps, floggers and whips, which when administered with skill can be as intense as you might need for the correction you desire. I appreciate that! we don't do back stuff for a variety of reasons for hubby, but you are correct about finding new skin. He's only super tolerant on about an 8 inche wide band area across the backside. I still find pleeenty of ways to keep him hollerin :) We have found that using super thin, whippy implements will allow for a VERY long session before he even gets close to subspacing out on me. I also have inner thighs and simple words that keep him in line. we just agreed a long time ago that the back was offlimits

Cane is intense but concentrated and spread out over time. Brushes are overwhelming
