Much thanks to you Maestro Wilkinson. You have certainly created a plethora of the most superb backing tracks in existence. Your flawless mastery of the deep groove is an inspiration for all of us. Please consider posting Yardbird Suite is at all possible. Thanks again.
Thanks, I'm happy you like the tracks. Yardbird is available on my website: www.playjazztracks.com/product/yardbird-suite/210?cp=true&sa=false&sbp=false&q=false&category_id=3
This is a fantastic track! Thanks so much for posting it. And yes the Martino version in F is smoking! I just want to add that there is a great version in Ab on Jimmy Smith's record, House Party. The band has Eddie McFadden on guitar, Curtis Fuller on bone, Lee Morgan on trumpet. The solos are all incredible. There is also a version with the same band on Groovin at Smalls but not quite as good imho. Thanks again for posting!
Your backing tracks are awesome and so inspiring. Do you mind if I made just a small suggestion; mostly your tracks are up-tempo which is very nice for jamming the standards that I have already digested. But it's a bit challenging for learning new tunes in these tempos. I assume your tracks are played live ( I mean not an AI-generated track), so this might not be so easy but if you upload in various tempos of the same song would be great. If it's not OK you're still awesome :)
Hey, thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. I do have some tunes up that have fast and slow tempos, Donna Lee for example. If you get the MP3s from the website www.playjazztracks.com you could use something like "Amazing Slow Downer" I use it all the time for my practice and it can slow stuff down really well without losing much sound quality. Yes, I play everything live so it's pretty much how I would play on a gig so you get the real experience. It's definitely good to know that some people might want slower versions and I'll keep it mind for future uploads! Thanks again.
Swings better at 85% normal speed IMHO. Thanks for the b track, Phil. You are awesome!

Awesome.
formidable !
Awesome track! Do you think you can do one in G?
love it!
Great tune. Great groove and tempo. What key?
Thanks.👍🏼 It's in F major.
F major, but remember that the tune starts on the IV chord. Really important movement to practice, going from the IV to the I or the I to the IV.
