I like newer Shinedown. Yeah their older stuff is a LOT heavier AND better, but their newer music is still good to me. Threat to survival was eh, but it still had some of their greatest songs. ATTENTION ATTENTION was way better than Threat to Survival though. Special and Get Up were lighter but when it comes to lyrics, they were powerful. But Devil and Monsters were some great songs. Overall, yeah, their older music was top tier, but they’re still good and I know I’ll keep listening to them.

This one put them on the map - they have a ton of gems especially in their first few albums

If you have the extra money laying around. Get vip. You will never regret it. They sign stuff for you and they talk to you individually and they are the kindest people I have ever met. I spent the money on it and i will do it again when they come back

Shinedown WAS AMAZING! Leave A whisper and Sound Of Madness were great (Leave A Whisper is one of the greatest albums of all time) but I don’t care for their last few efforts!
Not sure if you like acoustic but you need to check out Shinedown in my house on RUclips he sings in a living room with just a acoustic guitar. Amazing performance he sang 45, Simple Man, a few others. It was back in 04 or 05.

Mr. Gibby....if you want some awesome stripped down shinedown, you should listen to acoustic album Smith and Myers....insane. I def think you would like the band Nothing More...Ballast (this is the time) is their most popular but the song Jenny has a ton of emotion about his sister and mother during his sisters battle with drug addiction. Give it a deep dive all the way in.
