Was Brought up in Cape Town, never Surfed Kommetjie, to Big for me when it was on but what i do Know is that it can be Sharky at the Best of Times, so can Muizenberg and Vishoek to be Honest.
Seems as if shark attacks on surfers have increased over the decades. Is it because there are more people in the water or has the word got out amongst the Great Whites that once through the rubbery exterior them humans taste not too bad, careful to watch out for the fibre glass splinters.
The unfortunate thing about drone footage is it just makes things so out of perspective. The swell over those couple of days was frikken HUGE!! Yet you can't pick it up so much from the footage:( Kommetjie is rad still!
